Reading the recent reviews I was shocked. We had a completely different experience. Staff were friendly and food took about 10 minutes. The smoothies were lovely and so was the food. Reasonably priced, smoothies were 12k and rice meal was 30k. Would come again.

We came here as a group of 7. Two people got their food within about thirty minutes but an hour later we popped our head round to see what the hold up was to find them sat around drinking tea. The food did arrive some time later. I ordered the sweet and sour duck. Disgusting. A piece of fried flip... More

This restaurant is the worst restaurant I have ever been to! Service was diabolical and the food was bland. It took over an hour for our food to arrive and when it did it was substandard

Meal ok, staff friendly but without english scills. That's ok, but the woman Who was standing at the entrance was very unfriendly when we wanted to pay. Not only to us, even to her own staff which was disgusting!

We visited Mango Garden Restaurant tonight as it's our last night in Luang Prabang and we'd heard that it's a nice restaurant that does good, reasonably priced food; the price of the food was just about the only positive I can think of. We sat at a free table and waited for some menus to be brought over to us..... More

Their Laotian BBQ was prominently advertised. Decided to try. On the face of it, sounded quite reasonable. The apparatus for the fondue/BBQ was set up. It was just a matter of waiting for the BBQ top to heat up and the soup at the base to boil. We stared and waited. The wait staff stared and waited. Then they realised... More

Ordered food in evening, just a few dishes, got the fried duck and beverages quickly.....and then nothing happened....had to ask for the rest of the food and after one hours waiting the waiter came and said..."just one minute"....then the pork came...but no rice. They say that they just had started to boil the rice so we had to change to... More

Staff poorly trained. Apparently, not enough people in the kitchen. The rice arrived 30min AFTER the curry. The desert arrived bevore the rice. Complete mess! The menu is a sad mixture between european and asian cuisine. To be avoided.

We ordered a few dishes here. We actually finished one, not even realizing what it was (I believe it was supposed to be fried pork with vegetables). Flavours were just okay. I hate to say it, but with several good restaurants to choose from, we were quite sorry we ate here.
