The bakery offers great sandwiches and European meals. But the question is do you really need Western food travelling through Asia? ;-) Anyway the food is tasty, and additionally there is a wine shop with a good selection of wines. Recommended!

I had breakfast here each morning during my 4 day trip to Luang Prabang as it was right next to my hotel. I had a set menu, which was excellent value, and included freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, 2 eggs and bacon (or ham), French bread (or crumb bread) with butter and jam, and a croissant, all for around 50,000... Went for brunch. Felt like I was in France with one of the best croissants I've ever had (chocolate and almond) as well as a lovely ham and cheese (le clasique) with incredibly fresh baguette and beautiful side salad. Loved the vibe of the school across the way and the french colonial style doors. It was a great place and... More

I had a baguette to take away. It was nothing like those in Paris - not at all crisp. You can buy ones which are filled at the other end of the Main Street for the same price - 10,000 kip (about £1).

Tried a number of places and Banneton won hands down! great bread, pastries, eggs, iced coffee and orange juice with top service. Even when busy they manage to keep on top of the service and serve up some of the best french breakfast fayre i have had since i was in France. Dont bother going anywhere else !

Had breakfast and lunch here during our stay. Great croissants, bread and bacon and eggs but the coffee and hot chocolate were no where near as good as Joma bakery. The salads for lunch were very good.

all of us loved our food choices that ranged from quiche and salad to baguette sandwiches with a small salad, soup, etc. it was beautifully presented and promptly delivered. The restaurant is wide open to the outside and seems to be very popular (doesn't surprise me). Prices are reasonable - what more can you ask for. They take a credit... More

By far the best croissants in town - butter, almond and chocolate. Could sit there whole day drinking coffee and tasting their home made pastries. Lunch menu with classic sandwiches and paninies is good too. Nice selection of iced drinks. Service is not the fastest, but that is "local" thing :)

We shared a baguette sandwich, a salad, and French fries and all were delicious -- especially the salad and bread. Prices are reasonable, atmosphere is nice, and service is quick. We'll probably return again in a day or two!
