Basically a dive bar with tropical juices. We came here after reading up on Luang Prabang gay bars (apparently there are none). The music was loud and the drinks were saccharine sweet and strong, but it was definitely a bar for backpackers. We also ordered a Lao pork sausage to go with several rounds of drinks. The accompanying potatoes were... More

April in Luang Prabang can hot and dry, we walked past Lao Lao Garden in the morning and earmarked it for a place to go later. Once the sun is setting and the Night Markets are set up life changes as people come out to enjoy the evening air. My wife and went back to Lao Lao Garden for a... More

Here I am almost a year later and I still think of the bbq soup dishy boyfriend and I shared. I wish I could find it here in Toronto. It was 40,000k for two at the time and we were full when we finished. Delicious, good service and affordable, what more can you ask for.

Nice garden restaurant, but was not sure what to expect due to the mixed reviews here. But the burger was very good. Could have been juicier, but overall very good, and nice bun, too. French fries were homemade, maybe not supercrispy, but still very good. Free welcome shot served. Tasted like jet fuel.

Lovely beer garden with good atmosphere. Candle lit tables and cute lanterns decorating the place. Has a free pool table and great cocktails for great price as it's 2 for 1. Really pretty with nice vibe of backpackers, locals and everyone in between. Defiantly worth a visit.

We went here for lunch. We took the spaghetti and Lao sandwich, but didn't really like it. There were way too many spices and garlic in the sandwich. Since it wasn't that good, we think the prices are also too high for what you get.

Had a great red penang curry and mango lassie. They even bought fresh ingredients for the drink quickly.

Great place for food or just drinks. We went there in the afternoon, had lunch and a few beers to relax a bit. I really loved the menu. It explains all the dishes in English and has lots of interesting info for non-locals, make sure to read the q&a at the end. If you like Utopia, you'll like this, too!

Came here just for a few cocktails. The place was really nice and chilled. All tables have candles on them and the setting is very romantic. The cocktails came out very nice and strong, I didn't eat here but the food looked very good.
