I really fell in love with this restaurant for its setting, its culinary quality and the friendliness of Nathalie and her waiters. Time stops at the Dyen sabai. I invite you to taste Lao fondue and green curry. Finish your meal with local alcohol ... Lao Lao

Such a lovely little restaurant looking out over the Nam Khan river.. I love the layered effect, the many little sections of tables, and the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. The food was also delicious, as was the pineapple shake!! It really shouldn't be missed if you visit Luang Prabang.. also, to get there yu need to cross the bamboo bridge... More

Tasty local food with beautful views over the bamboo bridge and river, try the Barbeque which you cook on your table on hot coals with delicious sauces . try to go there during Happy Hour with two for one cocktails.

A great place to hangout with great food by the river side! Go across the bamboo bridge and the restaurant just beside the exit of the bridge.

During the dry season, you will be able to cross over from the town centre to Dyen Sabai by the bamboo bridge for 5000k kips per person, 1 way. If not you can travel by tuk tuk and just a short walk from the main road in. The food is nice, reasonably priced, nice ambience during both day and night.... More

Located about 3 minutes from the center (night market) there is a little bamboo bridge (dry season, wet season = bamboo raft) crossing the Nam Khan river, followed by a steap stairway - but the walk is more than worth it! Up on the top we found a nice restaurant, built in to the natural terraces and beautifully illuminated with... More

Came past this restaurant and had a cocktail in the afternoon. Then reserved a table by the river for dinner that evening. We had the "fondue" which is like hotpot where u grill the meat and cook vegetables and noodles in a broth at your table. The only downside is it makes the whole area hot which isn't really what... This place is very relaxing and has great views. You can lay back on their floor cushions and enjoy watching the monks cross the bamboo bridge. You can play board games while sipping a cocktail or beer lao or you can enjoy a hot pot to share. A great little spot

Description
Dyen Sabai offers Lao typical food and foreigner breakfast. We also have a nice selection of desert (foreigner sweet.. sorry the Laotians don't eat that much sweet!!) We also, have happy hour from noon to 7 pm, 2 cocktails for the price of one, on selected cocktails. You can reach us with a bamboo bridge (in dry season) (there is a fee for the bamboo bridge of 5,000 kips). We also do free boat from noon to closing when the bamboo bridge is not there (rainy season only)
Dyen Sabai is a chill out restaurant where you sit on cushions on the floor or regular table. We have lao typical food and the lao BBQ.
