We went to this place for lunch after horse cart tour. It is outside seating surrounded by many trees. We ordered fried veggie vermicelli noodle and fried watercress and steamed rice. Food was very tasty and portion was generous. Waiter was nice and spoke good English and food price was reasonable.

Setting is very nice in open area under the trees. Restaurant caters too large tourist groups and it looked like thekitchen can handle the large groups as we did not have to wait long for our food. Some dishes were nice, but oily. Fried noodles not impressive. Lots of waiters running around but not well organized. Bathrooms not very clean.... More

A nice place with a tree-shaded garden. Good choice and quality of food, cold drinks. Clean restrooms. Very friendly staff

Good spot for lunch after visiting Inwa sites. Had main courses for about 4-5k Kyat - both reasonably good. Nice shaded pavilions well spread out with separate blocks for kitchens, toilets, etc. Careful though there's a large dog that likes to doze in one of the toilet cubicles - don't step on him by mistake!

Was taken here by my guide after the horse and cart ride so good to be stationary and in the shade of the trees. The food was fine but being outside it was a very basic place and there were a lot of insects which was unpleasant. It was fairly quiet when I was there so service was quick. Excellent... More

Excellent food: I would say our choices were more Chinese food than Burmese, but that's probably because we chose what we knew and liked. The menu was slighty confusing - 6 pictures on a page don't obviously match the 10 items listed. Visiting Ava (aka Inwa) on a day trip from Mandalay. We came over on a small boat and... More

Food is lovely. Nice place to stop lunch in Ava. Very relaxing. Chicken with cashew, steam fish with lemon and chicken with pineapple ( if it is available) are popular dishes of this restaurant. The dishes are quite big. I recommend you to stop lunch break when you go and visit Ava.

The food in this place is surprisingly good and tasty for a place than looks just no more than a very nice food shack and I was surprised by the quality of what I eat. A great place to eat in wonderful Inwa island

To be fair, we arrived in the afternoon only, so staff had carried quite a load from lunch time already. Once we got attention, and when the food arrived, we found it tasty. The atmosphere of the garden is relaxed and very nice.

Open-air place (with shade) with local dishes. Well-priced vegetarian options available. Staff was friendly. Dinner was served within 10 minutes.

Thank Jay B
