All in all just an okay place to have a go at traditional Bulgarian cuisine, but with lots of room for improvement. Our waiter did speak some basic English, so communication wasn't an issue, but he was absent quite often. There is a good range of dishes (with pictures in the menu), but the ones we got obviously weren't prepared... More

Very good restaurant in downtown Plovdiv. Don't go there for an exquisite design or atmosphere (seems to be stuck in the late 80's/early 90's) but for the food which is very tasty, while the prices are extremely decent. However the menu should be shorted since there are way too many options and its format is difficult to be read. Also... More

First of all: the food was very nice, I've tried a chicken soup and a chicken skewer, while my colleague tried a pork neck steak. After this has been said, the service must be improved and the English spoken by the waitress as well. The menu offers too many options, I felt dizzy while going through it...

Apparently it's open 24 hours! It's very kitsch and "traditional" inside. There's a real fire, food comes out when ready and was pretty good. We tried duck hearts for the first time which were surprisingly tasty. They also sell things like veal tongue! Like similar restaurants in other countries they cook meat and potatoes very well so it's not really... More

All dishes we ordered were really good: salad, mish mash, meat, bread. Wine also!! We eat a lot and taste the special dessert: amazing!! Homemade cake! You have to taste it! The place is very comfortable and nice. We missed a better english speaker to advice and explain the menu, talk to us...etc Anyway, it is very recomendable, very good... More

This is by far the worst place in Plovdiv, starting from the eclectic fourniture, a real kitschy choice, bad and rude service and bad , pretending to be traditional bulgarian cuisine but far from it. Don't go there! It is a bad expereriance that you gont need.

The restaurant is located in the center of Plovdiv near the central pedestrial. It is open 24/7. It has traditional Bulgarian cuisine and the decoration is also traditional. Food is delicious!!! Staff is polite and helpful.

This restaurant was recommended by the Lonely Planet and locals from the hostel. However, we were rather disappointed. The portions were not so big as expected, the chicken wings a little dry and burned. The menu is less appealing because of the many pictures of food, which made it harder to choose. We were forbidden to play a game of... More

We visited it during national holiday time, it was almost empty and I could say that what we ordered was served comparatively fast. Food was traditional and delicious. We didn't enjoy the fact that the waiter was distrait and talked to his colleagues while taking notes of our orders.
