We stopped in for lunch while touring the Old City, after checking out several other venues. I wanted something with non-smoking indoor seating on a chilly day and was hoping to find brunch, rather than lunch. Caffe Cesare was able to accommodate all of the above. They escorted us to the non smoking section at the back of the restaurant,... More

This place is terrible, the "fresh" orange juice was a watery yellow vile drink, we gave it back and asked for a coke instead. The sandwiches were made with cheap ham that had an awful taste. The guy who served us could see that we barely touched our food, he ignored that and charged us full price and even tried... More

Avoid this place like the plague. They blast out the most horrendous cheesy pop music at deafening levels from 11pm to 1am keeping the entire neighbour awake and ruining a beautiful square. The unfortunate local residents don't seem to be able to do anything about it, my hotel certainly couldn't, tourists on the other hand can do something about it,... More

We stepped by here only to get Wi-Fi, to look for Trip Adviser's recommendations, where to have lunch. Then decided to eat there, because were starving. Spent 5-10 minutes deciding, what to order. When we were ready, a waiter informed us, that all they had were rice, pasta and 2 salads to choose from. Why they hadn't said it as... More

This restaurant is just a trip for tourist ! Prices on the card are not real prices ! We have to pay 10,50 € just for the service (without, our bill was just 17€...). And moreover , food was not good..

We ate at the Astoria last night which was amazing then stopped for lunch today at Cesare which is next door. What a dramatic difference between the two!!! We waited an hour for our lunch to arrive and our order was terribly mixed up and really below standard. The waiters were smirking at each other when we complained. They kept... More

Risotto was full with oil - we had to take it out to be eaten ( around 3-4 table spoons per plate just added in the risotto and laying on the bottom of the plate) Extremely too much salt. The seafood in the risotto was burned. Freshly squized juice was multiplied with water - mostly water and a flavour of... More

We got "tricked" into eating here because we thought it was Cesareca. We didn't double check until the pizza came out with raw chicken in the middle. Picture attached. The pasta carbonara was all noodles with barely any sauce, bacon and no mushrooms. The Greek salad looked odd, withered and old. We just came from spending 2 weeks in Greece... More
