Wow! What an experience! We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough to anyone visiting Sibenik or just the whole of Croatia! We stumbled across this once there so tried our luck at booking a table at short notice. Online booking showed lunch and dinner as...fully booked for our time there, however you can easily request a reservation through their website. I did add a note that I would take any available slot as I was hoping to take my boyfriend for his birthday, so whether it was for that or just pure luck - a short time later I received an email with a reservation confirmation for lunch. From the second we arrived, we had nothing but fantastic service from every member of staff. All very smart, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We had the 11-plate Taster Menu. Started with sparkling wine which was delicious. Every single dish was phenomenal, very tasty and well explained by staff. Completely deserve their Michelin star. We each had a glass of wine, both very nice and staff recommended each depending on our preferences. Staff always on hand to ensure you had water topped up and anything you needed but without us ever noticing their presence or like you were being overheard etc. Most reviews mention it being pricey; yes it’s a costly meal in the scheme of eating out, but in terms of high standard and Michelin star food we would say absolutely good value and worth every penny/kuna. Also everything is local from food to wine, which we loved. Every single thing and little detail well thought out and just perfect in our opinion. Overall - DELICIOUS FOOD, FANTASTIC SERVICE, BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT, ABSOLUTE MUST!!More

If you are looking for a proper Michelin dining experience - this is it. My father and I went here for lunch and we were absolutely astonished. Every single course that we had was gorgeous and the waiters were also incredibly attentive. They took their...time to explain each dish in a detailed manner which was just lovely. I highly recommend reserving a table in advance, as the waiting list is rather long. We got our table on short notice but I assume that was just sheer luck. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit and please bring a lot of time, so you can really cherish the entire experience!More

Visited Pelegrini as a family of four on our holiday from the UK. We enjoy fine foods so made a point of visiting the starred restaurant. We were not disappointed for a second. Whilst I accept everyone can only rate on their own experience, I'm...struggling to believe some of the negativity about the service...it was warm, welcoming, informed, friendly and suitably relaxed. It was not in the least ruched or imposing. The balance was perfect. The food....well its starred so who am I to argue...it speaks for itself. Yes it's pricey but you get what you pay for. Every dish was delightful and they just kept coming. We had the tasting menu and the wine flight. All 4 of us thought every serving was perfect to match the idilic setting. Great experience!More

Pelegrini was for us like a Michelin star restaurant thtat is about to loose its star. Or wondering why they got one tobsters with. Understaffed (waiters rushing through the dish description, if you blink you miss it), cheap ingredients (their take on fish and chips...was battered sardines with a dollop of tomatoed Mayo) and wrong wine pairing (again b-rates wines, quite strong and completely overpowering the dishes, and little variation). Avoid it at all cost.More

Husband and I we went on our anniversary day, we were late for 30 min but the staff was waiting for us without any issues, they welcomed us nicely and started serving the meals. Are first course “on the house” was mussles with lemon sorbet,...as a native croatian I believe mussles are the best served with some lemon, big and fresh, anything extra just ruins the flavours I have been to 10 michelin star restaurants so far all over the world (including the famous Osteria francescana) and why I rates this restaurant 3/5 is : it is very hot inside during summer time, I believe if someone pay certain amount of money, the atmosphere should be comforting, even though staff offered us to move to another table, it was not the best vibe The music is great, stuff very well educated and they know their job, the food, every meal was delicately very detailed prepared, however it didn’t really “wow” me. It deserves Michelin for its quality and attention and special preparation as well wines were amazing It was all croatian wines, but really good ones. It went very fast, should be more entertaining , stuff maybe engaging to take it longer. I recommend night visit, I think it is more romanticMore

Restaurant terrace is located in the beautiful old city of Sibenik, very nicely decorated, an well thought out. The staff is simply amazing, they are attentive, knowledgeable, especially the sommelier which helped us choose an amazing local wine, that we would otherwise skip for some...better known labels. We had the tasting menu, the quality was superb and all the ingredients were local to the area which was very nice. If I had to find one drawback it was the quantity of food which by the time deserts arrived was too much, and we barely managed to finish it all. All in all, a great restaurant, Michelin star well deserved!More

We visited this fabulous restaurant and were impressed with the high level of service. We were really looking forward to the food, however, the food is what let's this place down. We also opted for the wine pairing, when really wine doesn't match the courses...to which their served. It seems all they are trying to achieve is push local Croatian wine. The service is fabulous, the setting is great, the food is poor (NOT MICHELIN), the wine is amazing (doesn't go with the food courses). Well worth a drop in, if you're in Sibenek, but be prepared to be disappointed with the food.More

This would be a lovely restaurant for a special occasion. I believe most of the tables are located outside and the spots next to the orange trees in planters are quite nice. I would not want to sit adjacent to the sidewalk... More
