This was the first meal my boyfriend and I had when we arrived in Zadar, It was perfect such a pretty picturesque area to sit in outside, it's right off one the main squares in the old town of Zadar. The pizza was amazing as was the steak, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would 100% recommend this little... More

Had an amazing dinner at this place! My friends highly recommended it so me and my family gave it a try. Food was excellent, the staff was friendly and very attentive. We will definitely love to come back sometime soon.

We had a very tasty fish platter for two and some mixed salad as a side, including excellent Dalmatian wine. We enjoyed the dinner which was very reasonably priced for two persons. The restaurant is beautifully located in a very cozy ambience in a quiet street. The service was good.

It was a shame, the course that was served didn't look like the one in the menu. The Pork meat was not fresh and the pasta was swimming in the liquid sauce...

We were just because we liked to have sea food. We had calamares and they were just excellent. Also the wine was good. Two glasses of wine and two portions of calamares cost around 34 euros.

Had evening meal, octopus salad was not very tasty, the main dish, fish with vegetables was OK. I was brought bread that I didn't ask for or want and they put it on the bill. I complained and they said they wouldn't charge but then short-changed me by 25 kuna. Eventually they sorted it out and gave me the correct... More

It was late on Sunday, and we were hungry and tired. Cute decor, we had the pasta, smoked salmon for me and bolonesge for hubby. Both lovely dishes, with wine, and we were happy and now ready for sleep. Perfect start to Zadar.

Went there with some friends. We stayed true to the Dalmatian cuisine (it isn't an extensive menu) and really enjoyed our meal. The black risotto is really good. We also had desserts, but don't try the panacotta (not worth it). For 6 persons, including drinks, it came to a total of 715 HRK (somewhat cheap). Would probably return in future visits.

Welcome to Tinel! Enjoy the atmosphere of the ancient Zadar town on the peninsula mixed with all the buzz of the near-by piazza, the Zadar’s main square. In the old Dalmatian homes, the room used for socializing and relaxation was referred to as “tinel”. In Italy and in the South of France it is the name used for dining rooms or refectories. So what a better place to experience Mediterranean and Dalmatia, the history of the old-age towns built from stone and gastronomical secretes of their residents, then in the very center of the over three thousand years old town of Zadar.Restaurant TINEL is a restaurant, a bistro, a pizzeria and a spaghetteria. It is a casual and relaxed eatery, with friendly crew and excellent chefs. We offer traditional Mediterranean and Dalmatian cuisine with a touch of creativity and contemporary themes. Whether you look for pasta, pizza, salads, meats or fish, you will find it here. Join us, relax and enjoy… TINEL is the place for the good mood and the great food.
