I was here with my girlfriend for her birthday and I can tell you that the food and service was great! The tuna steak melts in your mouth as you eat it! The house wine was great too!

It was nice to explore one of the nicest neighborhoods in Split and venture away from Old Town. This restaurant was very welcoming and served simply cooked, fresh fish. It's a small place so reservations are a must.

We had 2 meals in Konoba Marjan, if you are into a fish this is place for you. Veli Varos is part of Split with lots of small family run konobas and this is one of them.

If in search of fish, you know you have succeeded when the waiter brings out a huge tray with all of today's catch to select from. We shared a sensational grilled John Dory, enjoyed impeccable service and took the recommendation for a delicious, dry local white wine. This konoba (Croation for bistro) is in an area to the west of... More

Standard Dalmatian cooking, more for the tourist experience. I had the skampi, which were meant to be served buzara style, don't get me wrong the prawns were fresh, but not buzara. Deserts were great, and the waiter was friendly. It was just ok.

After a bad meal the night before gave this restaurant a go, from the moment of arrival to the bill the service was excellent and attentive. The food was like home cooking but delicious. Definitely will be returning, well done BP

When you go to a fish restaurant as a vegetarian, you're usually stuck with a mediocre salad or something. I ordered the roasted vegetables and potatoes, and the vegetables may have been the best veggies I've ever had from a restaurant. My friends got the sea bass and shrimp risotto, and they both raved over the food as well... This... More
