A real highlight of our visit to Antigua, we spent a couple of hours in Fernandos having coffee and lunch and also browsing the arts and crafts they have on offer. I also bought a bag of his coffee for my uncle who is a connoisseur and he loved it! Great value for $10!

Fernandos is THE BEST coffee in Antigua. They roast all of their coffee in house and make all of their chocolate in the back of the restaurant. None of the drinks have much added sugar. It is the real deal. Fernando and his family are always friendly and willing to strike up conversation. Also, the cronut, is out of this... More

A great spot to enjoy a good brew! Their garden is lovely and you can purchase coffee or chocolate to take home too.

From the outside, this little gem seems like your everyday, run of the mill kind of café, nestled in a dull part of town down from the rather dreary San Sebastián park. But once inside Fernando's Kaffee, you can browse the cute little store offering a great range of natural café/cacao products, and then pass on through into an open-plan... More

This place is very cheap, clean, with friendly staff. All around are framed puzzles. The biggest one that occupy an entire wall has a missing piece! Good luck! The food is fantastic, fresh and tasty! They have a large variety of coffee. It is also a Pet friendly restaurant but be aware there is a cat... or two (?!) Cat... More

Fernando’s was a really special place in downtown Antigua that we visited three times during the week we stayed in the city. Yes, it’s frequented by foreigners, and yes, the menu and staff are bi-lingual, but that’s not to detract from the beauty, comfort, and quality of what’s offered to its customers. Fernando’s dining room is situated in a wonderful... More

The people who work here are Super kind, the coffee is amazing and they've got a cat which is just as friendly as the people who work there.

I have worked as a barista in Boston. The coffee shop toasted onsite and had beans from 35 different countries. I'm a coffee snob. I never write reviews. I downloaded trip advisor so I could say LOUD & CLEAR. This is the best coffee I have ever had. Period. From anywhere. That is all.

I enjoyed the hot foamy milk and a macaroon. Dreamy combination. The hot milk was foamed just right, with no extra charge! The decor is great and looks to be my new favorite coffee stop.

We have been in Antigua for 8 days so far and we love Fernandos. It is always open by 7:00 and we are usually the first in. We have had the Tipico breakfast, our personal favorite. It comes with eggs, beans, plantains, and your choice of tortillas or bread. We also tried the yogurt with their homemade granola- truly delicious.... More
