I liked this place, reminiscent of a place I love in Arizona. The food was freshly prepared and generously served. Their salsa is excellent! Burritos were stuffed and flavorful, crispy chips, and from what we heard.. Wonderful sangria!!

Spend your money elsewhere. Used to be a great BYOB option, but now overpriced Mexican food with a downer vibe. I've been here maybe 15 times since they opened and I will probably not be back. I've eaten most everything on the menu and this place just needs an overhaul. I want it to be good, but something is missing.... More

Very small Mexican restaurant with good, authentic Mexican food. I have only eaten there are lunch, but enjoyed it very much.

We are locals, and eat here fairly regularly (a couple of times a year). It can get very busy on weekends, but other nights it is usually little or no wait. The food is good, and reasonably priced; the service is always friendly. They started without a liquor license, but they have one now (so no more BYOB). As noted... More

Small, local Mexican restaurant. They treat people well and the food is good. Don't miss their guacamole.

Waiter pushed poor choices on the menu. He must work off commission. Never brought me the beer I ordered until I reminded him. The soup was terrible. The meat balls were just as bad. The PRIME RIB was the worst I have ever had. It was like a roast beef with a out if a jar beef broth, that was... More

We have eaten here before and have always enjoyed the food. The prices are on the high end for Mexican fare but the food is cooked to order and well made. The reason I am giving three stars is the service, which was quite slow. While we waited, we finished the small bowl of chips on the table and asked... More

After driving by some time ago and being in the area recently we decided to give it a try. The interior is cute, small and decorated nicely with authentic Mexican motif, but the vibe was Dead! Yes there was Mexican music playing in the back ground but way in the back ground. I mean liven the place up why don't... More

The attitude and the food are disappointing. When I last reviewed this restaurant, I gave it a high rating. I recently returned to find the food mediocre and the customer service practically non-existent. I no longer recommend this restaurant. Spend your money elsewhere.

Great Mexican South American food made from scratch. This is not your chain type of Mexican food. A unique and distinctive flavor. Small only a few tables, so no fancy dining here. just good food

Mexican food varies by region, because of local climate and geography and ethnic differences among the indigenous inhabitants and because these different populations were influenced by the Spaniards in varying degrees. The north of Mexico is known for its beef, goat and ostrich production and meat dishes, in particular the well-known arrachera cut.The six regions of Mexico differ greatly in their cuisines. In the Yucatán, for instance, a unique, natural sweetness (instead of spiciness) exists in the widely used local produce along with an unusual love for achiote seasoning. In contrast, the Oaxacan region is known for its savory tamales, celebratory moles, and simple tlayudas while the mountainous regions of the West (Jalisco, etc.) are known for goat birria (goat in a spicy tomato-based sauce).Central Mexico's (DURANGO where we are from.) cuisine is largely influenced by the rest of the country, but has unique dishes such as barbacoa, pozole, menudo and carnitas.Southeastern Mexico, on the other hand, is known for its spicy vegetable and chicken-based dishes. The cuisine of Southeastern Mexico has a considerable Caribbean influence due to its location. Seafood is commonly prepared in states that border the Pacific Ocean or the Gulf of Mexico, the latter having a famous reputation for its fish dishes, à la veracruzana.
