It seems that this place changed hands a few months ago and locals are inconsistently rebelling. As far as I can tell, it is the same place with different bartenders, similar prices.

A good local tavern/bar with 8-10 of the regular beers on tap and around 15-20 in bottle. A fair selection of cocktails is also available. The girl behind the bar is friendly and helpful and there's a pool table, a juke box and several TVs...More
Thought this would be a nice neighborhood bar to relax and have a beer or two. Was surprised that they charged Boston prices ($4.50) for a glass of draught beer. Nothing special about the place to warrant that price.
Nothing fancy, local beers and the usual suspects, well drinks, and popcorn. Great jukebox, a few video games, and plenty of New England sport memorabilia.
Strong drinks reasonably priced and excellent service. Pool table and juke box make the place a lot of fun. Often weekend nights there is live music which gets everyone up and dancing. My personal favorite is Wednesday nights when they have Trivia Night at 8pm....More

Divey, perhaps, but it has character, and is a friendly place. There are hundreds of these places in NYC, but only one in Andover. You can get ok pub food for lunch, but this is not a restaurant.
