I enjoy this restaurant while visiting this area! Nice menu, good choices for beer or wine! This restaurant has the best cinnamon role with vanilla ice cream for dessert!

Been here a few times. We went this past weekend for one of their famous burgers and some brews. I got a Patty melt. It was a huge burger with carmelized onions, swiss cheese and mushrooms on a home made Italian loaf. Two big fat pieces of it. I left half of the bread so I could eat the burger.... More

Picked the Ale House as a half way point to meet family for a quick lunch. When we arrived around 1 on a Thursday afternoon is was pretty quiet. There were a few patrons at the bar and we were the only table. Needless to say our service was top notch! Beer menu as others have noted is good. As... More

We have been here at least 6 times and as a consumer of quality beer I must say I like the selection that this place offers. With a nice long bar and high tops for plenty of seating as well as booths for diners you can almost always find a seat. The apps are always fresh made and tasty and... More

We were in Amesbury for the weekend open house art show. Following our tour around town in various shops, we decided to have lunch. One of the staff at a gallery recommended the Ale House for lunch. The food and service were excellent and the server was especially helpful and pleasant . Great place.

We went to the Ale House tonight for supper. Evan, the bartender was great. The reason I go to the Ale House is for the shepherds pie. It is so awesome. My husband had the braised ribs and he said it was excellent. Good job Ale House. You keep me coming back.

We eat at the Ale House every visit to Amesbury and are rarely disappointed! Good pub food, draft beer choices excellent, attentive service and kid friendly. The short rib shepherds pie is always a treat, menu has a lot of variety!

I ate at the Ale House for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. The inside is much bigger than the store front apppears. It has high ceilings and lots of wood as a nod to Amesbury's industrial heritage. The bar is long and has pub height tables but we requested the dining room and were seated immediately at... More
