We love French Bistros and Brasseries and our expectations were very high. It was our 26th anniversary and that boosted expectations also. Maybe that is not always a great thing. Beautiful place and the initial feel is great. Our service was stiff at best. Professional yes, but Brasseries and Bistros are supposed to be warm friendly places- not on our... More

Get ready for New Year's Eve 2016 and bring in 2017 by making a reservation for an outstanding dinner, party and celebration with the welcoming staff and a "Cats" theme with live entertainment. Yes, the second longest Broadway musical.

We spent the night in Annapolis for my wife's birthday and many of our friends from home (on the Eastern Shore) said this was maybe the best restaurant in Maryland. We finished our birthday shopping early and called to change our reservation from 7 to 6... and was easily accommodated. The restaurant is a stand alone building that looks like... More

Went there for a business dineer. Service very "in your face'- you were having an appetiser whether you liked it or not. Their attempt to be 'professional' and attentive came across more as pushy. The food read well and very authentic but didn't deliver on flavour and authenticity. My truffle and foie gras quail ws nicely cooked but tasted of... More

We have been coming to Les Folies for years and it has always been a consistent fine dining experience. We have mentioned it to another couple and they said the next time we went they wanted to go with us. So, we brought them with us and they sure seemed to enjoy themselves and remarked it was everything we said... More

My wife started with calamari and had the bouillabaisse as her main. The calamari was lightly fried and delicious, and the bouillabaisse was loaded with seafood in a scrumptious broth. I had the anchovy salad to start (not something I'd order again) and the paella (excellent) as my main. Not a cheap meal ($120 with tax and tip) but not... More

Took our adult kids for dinner Saturday night and enjoyed every morsel. I had the Steak Tartar (scrumptious) and the veal, my husband had the coq au vin. DO NOT miss the Grand Marnier souffle at the end of the meal. Light as a feather and delicious!

Three of us came here because it was close to our hotel, it was rated highly and my husband always likes to try French restaurants. We were not disappointed. We've all eaten many times in various regions of France and good French restaurants in London and Germany. So we were hoping for OK. Les Folies doesn't open new horizons, but... More

Very rude greeting..... snooty waitresses, and owner. Food was good, attitude was uncalled for. Arrived for a late night dessert, pre ordered, and overheard rude French comments about our table .... they did not we spoke fluently French.

Consistently delicious food graciously served. Try the foie gras appetizer...we get it every time. Will visit again if we ever get back to MD!
