This is a sweet and comfortable little "rincon" restaurant with fun pictures on the walls, Cuban men laughing and joking with each other, and an old wooden espresso bar and wood paneling. The place had a pleasant "old time" feel and a warm, welcoming ambience. Our Cubano sandwiches were excellent, as was the cafe Cubano. We loved it.

I think it was the owner who greeted me. Ordered Vaca Frita and it came with a bowl of bean soup. Very tasty and the white rice tasted smooth (not dry) Fast service

I went to this place, I like Cuban food, service seems ok until they bring my order, lechon, ripe plantains and patacones. The owner came to greet us and chat, but we ask for some more plaintain, and the owner wanted to charge the server for the plantains. Cheap service

Visiting PTY from MIA...gotta say it's as close as you're gonna get to the real thing. Is it mama's cooking? No. But does it hit the spot? Yes! Wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. Great spot.

Had a great Cuban meal last Wednesday night, Ropa Vieja and tostones. Terrific Mojitos.. Others mentioned the lady not too friendly, found that not to be true, she is the only one there and very busy and has very limited English. Thought she was charming.

2. El Rincon Habanero This small restaurant with a front porch offers a nice selection of Cuban dishes. We enjoyed our meal but we had a problem with the attitude of the waitress (a lady, about 50 years old) who was worked that day. She was very unfriendly, no smile, no hi, no good-bye. She seemed irritated and angry that... More

This is a small restaurant, nothing fancy and no luxury but the food was delicious. We had very good pastelillos and nicely cooked pernil with rice a beans. The meat was succulent and nicely cooked and the rice and bean were like grandma used to make. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. If you are looking for either Puerto Rican... More

Genuine Cuban menu very nicely priced. We had the Ropa vieja that was fantastic. The mujitos where just like in Havana. Would go there again.

Make sure you start off with the Mojito. The Cuban dishes are very good. Deserts were so-so. Overall, very good experience.

El Rincon Habanero offers some of the most flavorful Cuban food you will ever eat. The service was familial and friendly. Great find on our family trip to Panama.
