We went with my friends family to this place on a Thurs. night. besides the delicious food, they had an authentic dance show. It was not only a traditional dance show, but a fashion show too! They explained all of the hand made costumes, and it was a lot of fun! we were a group of 10, an there were... More

Enjoyed a typical Panamanian feast at Las Tinajas per our concierge's recommendation. We went at lunch time and there was mostly a business crowd. Dishes came out quick and were very flavorful and fresh. The ceviche was incredible as was the pescado frito caribeño. The appetizers are all awesome as well. Great prices

Found this restaurant walking around town. Great location and place. Service basic. Had to ask waiter multiple times for water. Food was TERRIBLE. Probably worst ceviche and octopus I ever had. Octopus tasted old and with overpowered by some kind of curry flavor. Main course was a corvina fish overcooked. Rice and beans as side dish old and flavorless. The... More

We walked to this restaurant from our hotel (Hilton DoubleTree) after reading the Trip Advisor reviews. Such a great, family-friendly evening out with music, dancing and some local history. While we had no reservation, tables were available with the $10/person show starting at 9:00 pm. (8:45 was early enough) and $15 minimum food charge. While you don't come here for... More

This restaurant is a nice place where you can have good panamanian local food but the best is the folkloric shows they present, you can have a pleasant moment seeing typical dance, listening to typical music and knowing a little about their customs. Some I really liked is that you can take your time to take pictures with them, is... More

A little Panamanian culture between indigenous and American eras. Our hotel made our reservations and we sat above the crowded main floor with its rows of tables. We had an isolated table for 4 at stage level. It was a perfect location with plenty of room. (The floor seated crowd was loud during dinner and sometimes during the show-must have... More

We were lucky to find a table for the show, we didn't have reservations. Since we arrived extremely early we had dinner in the general dinning area and then joined the sitting area for the show. Enjoyed the show very much and love the dresses. Food is nothing out of the ordinary, service is great.

The Tinajas restaurante is a great location to soak up some amazing Panamanian food and cultural. The dancing and music was great. The only down-side is having a conversation with your gust. It's so loud during the show, you can't hear the person next to you talk.

You have to reserve for a good table and pay USD 10 each for attending this traditional presentation. The food was nothing special, but you pay for what you get!
