A really delicious meal of prawns and calamari cazuela starters, shared a huge red snapper fish between 2, potatoes and vegetables and a bottle of Chilean Chardonnay and finished with a very generous glass each of excellent local rum. Our waiter spoke no English, but with very limited Spanish we got by. $90

Best seafood I have ever had in my whole life. I highly encourage you to check it out. They have an awesome menu with great variety. Even if you don't like seafood you can find great pasta and meat. Moreover, the service is great, the people are nice and are sure to give you a great experience. You can go... More

I love grilled octopus and to my delight, my perfectly cooked order arrived in a huge bowl. I had more than enough for two days!

Marea Altea is a pleasant eatery in Managua with a relaxed, casual atmosphere and decent quality seafood. The menu is quite diverse with traditional seafood house offerings and local specialties such as a number of ceviches and seafood carpaccios. Nothing stellar but solid, decent fare.

The nice beach and sea style interior does not compensate for the poor quality of the food. The service is slow.

This place is overpriced for the quality they claim to offer...although it has been a long standing local chain they need to revise even the employees they have... some appear to be with "Toxic " attitudes towards the customers...It is the owners Job ...

The service was excellent. The beer was cold. The food was good. A wide variety of choices. It's somewhat of a mix of TGIF and and restaurant on the beach.

We had an amazing meal here during our stay in Managua. It was a 5 minute walk from where we were staying at Hotel Los Robles and we couldn't believe our luck to find such a great restaurant so close. We sat outside at the front of the restaurant and kicked off with a couple of very nice frozen margaritas... More

I dined here tonight. At the beginning of my meal, the waiter pointed out a placard on the table stating that there was a promotion providing 50% discounts on all menu items on Thursdays in March. The sponsor was a Nicaraguan bank. I specifically asked the waiter if the discount was limited to payments made with that bank's credit cards.... More

This restaurant had many seafood options and they all looked delicious. It also had an extensive drink menu. We had a very large party and they did a good job of accommodating us.
