Superb menu, comfortable setting, would highly recommend to anyone who's looking to experience Ukrainian cuisine for the first time (or just wanting the best from familiar tastes!)

This restaurant might be overpriced as mentioned before, and not my favorite place, i still think that in term of taste, this is the best place i've been in Kiev. Definitively give it a try if you only care about quality and not so much about price.

We had a group lunch at Lipsky. It is very nice place, great decoration in XVIII century style same as waiters' uniforms. Food is good too, but it is very touristic, we didn't see any locals around and we found it extremely overprized - cheapest white wine was at 25€ a glass!!! And it was a New Zealand 2009 Sauvignon... Too touristic - looks like Poushkine in Moscow. Anyway they didnot pretend at homemade quality food - but that is what you need to get in Ukraine))

We enjoyed our meal here, the food was very good, and the service and the atmosphere is also excellent, but I don't think it's worth the prices they charge. Try the drunk pear, that was quite an amazing pudding which actually made the night for me.

I visited a lot of restaurants during my stay in Kiev but I must admit Lipsky Osobnyak is the best I had the pleasure to enjoy. Definitely try the Trout and Rabbit Stew with white wine (I was a skeptic at first but trust me, try it!). The service was great and attentive. Very professional. The restaurant is grand but... The legendary restaurant in Kiev changes the rules and amazes again! The new menu, new interior, new format. Under the same roof, at Lipki, the heart of the capital, Lipsky combined the classic and modern. The art of modern gastronomy and take away author's desserts, creative space and traditional luxury of banquets, wine tastings and dj-sets, an exquisite restaurant and a stylish city cafe. People make selfie there and enter into contracts during lunch, have breakfast with their parents and dinner with a noisy group of friends. Lipsky is always open. It is open to everything new and surprising. In common with native Kiev, it is old, familiar, cozy, but always trendy.
