Musafir is one of my favorite restaurants about chebureki.
If you want to spend your time with pleasure in friendly atmosphere - it is for you.
Chebureki with meat and cheese are delicious , filling and juicy.
Also you should to order their coffee. It is served in special cup with addition of sweet compliment.

Visited here for lunch on recent trip to Kyiv on recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. I had the shish kebab and it was delicious. The service was excellent. The young waiter we had even spoke good English, he was polite and prompt with the food without rushing us. I love the traditional dress the staff wear, giving an authentic feel. Will definitely return.

A very welcoming cafe. This is a bright representative of the family of restaurants serving homemade traditional Crimean Tatar cuisine.
This is not the first time I have been visiting. They make me happy every time. The prices are very reasonable. The dishes are always fresh and tasty. They cook quickly. There are always a lot of visitors here. The staff is friendly and professional. The service is fast and attentive.
I recommend the grilled meat menu, soup with small dumplings, manti, chebureki.

One of the best Crimean Tatar (Qitimli) restaurant. The menu is impressive. The food is always freshly cooked and well presented. Highly recommend their soups, manti, yantik and pide… I have been in this restaurant many times and always top notch service and delicious food. Highly recommend!

We were with friends on December 17th. I want to say that I have not tried such a delicious lamb barbecue for a long time, we all really liked it, very tasty and for reasonable money.
I want to thank the waiter Maxim for the service, everything was at the highest level, thank you very much, we will definitely come back to you. I recommend to everyone!

Awesome, Awesome Lamb Chops
The title says it all and it’s the only thing that I order here, and I order the 2nd plate once the 1st one is served because it takes time to cook them and its their most popular dish and they occasionally do run out of them. So when I hear that I just walk to the next Musafir which there are 3 of them all within’ a close walking proximity of each other.
They put a good spice on their green beans on the side and their tomato salsa dipping sauce isn’t needed since everything is juicy and that sauce tastes gross anyways. This dish was 175 UAH last year and then when I came back to Kiev it was changed to 235 UAH which in terms of percentage was a big price hike. But they still are worth it even at $10 bucks. Their meat salad with cucumbers and kinza is a good starter too. I highly recommend both dishes.
Thanks to the Swiss for introducing me to this place… even Diego.

One of the best option of Kiev restaurants.
I had a recommendation to visit Musafir from person from Crimea, so I think it already says a lot:)
Really authentic restaurant, mostly Tatar staff, big portions for affordable price and it’s SUPER tasty! Especially recommend to try a menu positions. Our waitor was Akhmet, we haven’t wait for food for a long time, everything was great. Also they serve you water and bread with hummus right after you came in. And I haven’t expected that much from hummus cause I already tried many and all of it weren’t tasty, but that hummus? Changed my mind for the first time. Just need to know where can I buy this hummus…

It was the best dinner experience we had in Kyiv, we visited Musafir 2 times. They serve traditional Turkish cuisine. It is better to call and make reservation before going, without reservation you may wait upto 1 hour. Portions are big and prices are fare (We paid 850UAH for 4 people for full cousine including soup, kebab, salad and coffee). They are kind and hospitable. We definetely suggest Musafir for your dinner in Kyiv.

This was my frist try at Crimerian cuisine and to be honest it was slightly disappointing. It seems to be a mix of Turkish and Georgian but without being as spicy as Turkish food and with the lack of pork and BBQ style found in the Georgian kitchen.
Here in Kyiv I have generally found that, even when it says spicy, the food is in most cases still what I would consider bland. The Hummus we had at the Musafir Teatralna was no exception. Expecting to experience a garlic feast I was very disappointed by the Hummus and I am still not sure if there was any garlic in the Hummus at all. They did serve some sauces with the dishes, some of them very good but none of the offered a taste punch.
The Service was great and the staff very helpful, which made the visit a good experience. However the food was ok but bland and I am unlikely to visit the Musafir Teatrania again.

It was delicious. Great job from Maxim the waiter. He served the company at 15 people, at the highest professional level - very quickly and was attentive to details. In fact, a beautiful team is all friendly, that you will never find in the capitals

I'm a big fan of this restaurant and often go there when I'm in Kyiv. The food is delicious and inexpensive and you get amazing humus with bread on a house. The service is excelent as well. I can praise them enough. Big thanks to the waiter Maksim, he made our last stay even better

Absolutely amazing place with rare and superb Crimean cuisine. Every time I'm in Kyiv I go to Musafir to enjoy Yantiq,Cheburek and Yufakash soup. It's an absolute must-visit place. On the weekend they have live Crimean music. It's a delight!
Be ready to wait for some 15 if you come in the evening, place is extremely popular (although very affordable).
Highly recommend!
Гайли was a wonderful host, he helped us to choose the best out of the menu and even shared a family recipe for Yantiq (we tried to cook it in San Francisco, but failed before).

By far, my favourite dining establishment in Kyiv. Musafir is restaurant which serves traditional Tatar dishes. For those of you, who are Halal sensitive, this is a not to miss place. For others, It still provides great selection of dishes both for carnivourous and vegetarians.
In addition, the hospitality you are welcomed with is unprecented. You are guaranteed to be amazed by the quality of the service you will get and the level of hospitality you will experience. At the end, in a city like Kiev where language barrier is likely to be expected in many places, that is never the case in Musafir.
Special thanks to Dursun who made my visit an experience to remember with his kind attitude and attention to detail in all aspects.

Everything was wonderful!
The ambiance of Musafir is simply enchanting. The moment you enter, you are greeted with warm, friendly smiles from the attentive staff. The decor transports you to a different time and place, creating a cozy atmosphere. The attention to detail is impeccable, and it truly enhances the overall dining experience. Musafir's menu is a masterpiece, my favorites are chebureki and khinkali. Love this place! Jereh was really helpful, lots of hugs!
