Excellent service, friendly and helpful plus good food. We liked the casual style together with the unusual but very tasty menu. The Mezza plate was particularly good.

Simple little restaurant with sophisticated food, easy to read menu, waiters willing to help, more than enough vines to offer... what more can a person need?

We like Ana Ugarkovic stlye and taste of her food. Been there couple of times, same good quality. Excellent choice of starters, love her fois gras. Veal tongue was fantastic, melting, as well as side dish. Lemon tart perfect. We will come again.

Don't think it would be too good for small children though. We wanted to try as much as possible so... More

We, a group of 4, spent only a couple of hours in Zagreb by coincidence and ended up in Mali Bar. One of us saw a TV show about food markets and the owner of the Mali Bar was featured in the show. That is why we went there. It is quite hidden in a back yard off the main... More

It was a rainy day, and I wasn't even hungry. We left the car in a nearby street (Voncinina ulica always seems to have a few available parking places) and took a short walk to the restaurant. Mali bar is centrally located, you can easily reach it by foot (10-15 mins from the main square) or by public transport. Car... More

Pursued an online recommendation, and we were not disappointed. The various dishes were terrific, as was the local wine. A cozy place to hole up on a rainy day.
