This place is a traditional cake and ice cream shop in Zagreb. It offers good quality ingredients in whatever they make. They can be inventive as well. However, they are in bad need of refurbishment as the ambient is very much 80s looking, They would do so much better in a different setting as there is really good quality there.

I came there to buy some cakes for a birthday party, There was a variety of 10-12 cakes. They all looked nice and trendy. I picked up four different ones. Unfortunately three out of four were ordinary. Not what I remembered rom my last visit and expected. Just one slice of cake was really good. Whole story was much too... More

A bit out of the center, but it is worth a bit of walking. Decorated as pastry shops used to be, small but cosy. The selection of cakes is really big and very divers. And you can expect to every so often find a new cake, just came out of great imagination of owners. Cakes are fabulous, as well as... More

I love ice cream and can eat it anywhere and at any time of the year. I'm especially partial to it in Croatia where it's really smooth, tasty and delicious. I'm made the rounds, eating ice cream cones in Dubrovnik, Split, Grad Pag, Primošten, Trogir, Šibenik, Krk and Zagreb. Is Orijent the best ice cream? My cousin thinks so. I... More

Birthday cake for third birthday was embarrassingly bad. The dough dry and cream with margarine !!! Cover/decoration was rubbery, as if eating play dough. Price of 460 kn was BRAZENLY high !!!

Every time I visit Zagreb I enjoy the best home made icecream of intersting flawours. Red black and all colours available with great chocolate fruit and other interesting flavours that taste great

Orijent offers the best cakes I've tried in Zagreb. But, the interior is out of date and the atmosphere is not pleasant. I don't like to sit there for longer than 10 minutes, it's simply not comfortable so I prefer takeout.

this place has solid sweets but it's stuck, in a time long gone. the cakes are too simple and there is very little interesting stuff to eat after you visit more than once

Overall they offer is top notch goodies, I would recommend their ice cream, spring cheesecake, Mango Jerry, but in short whatever you try is excellent to be honest. The prices are a bit higher but it's justified. The interior design is a bit out of date, but it does have this art deco interior design style (something you would see... More

The interior need some work but the cakes are tasteful. It is a little pricey. You can also take your order to go which is nice.
