The Bilo is located in the heart of Port Denarau Shopping Centre, Its a cafe, Bar, Bistro. Its open from 7 pm to 10 pm daily serving breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Also serving fresh juice and great selection of smoothies and crushes. We now also have lobsters, Singapore chilli crabs, muscles and steak and chips on our dinner menu

Best Coffee At the Port!!

This place has little wooden tables outside. Toilets are around the corner. You can eat here too and they have all manner of cocktails, beer, juices, smoothies!! Good, simple, relaxed, fresh, friendly dinner

We had a fish curry and grilled fish. Fish was meaty, clean and tasted quite fresh. Serving sizes were medium - nicely full afterwards. We drank fresh coconut water and an iced chocolate kava drink. My girlfriend is still raving about the coconut water! No pressure to sit down, eat,etc unlike a lot of places around here. Great value for a tourist area. Recommended.

We had 2 x breakfast burger, a beer and an iced coffee and it was lovely. Staff very friendly and pricing reasonable. We didn’t try the Kava smoothies but the couple on the next table raved about them. Worth a stop in

Good Food at Great Prices

Great service and some of the cheapest prices on Denarau Island. The food was good and so was the service. I had the chicken wrap (delicious) and my husband had fish and chips (special deal smaller serve). With a bottle of Bundaberg Passionfruit soft drink and an ice cream sundae and banana split to round things up, came to just $51 Fijian. Nothing flash about the cafe, but well worth stopping for a meal.

Great Food and and amazing Band

We were staying at the Hilton and decided to catch the Bulla Bus to the Port to have a drink by the water. when we got there this amazing band were playing so we decided to stay and eat. We ordered a share plate Tapas which was yummy and stayed for 2 hours listening to the music.The young guitarist was amazing and they played a fantastic version of Purple Rain which had the crowd on there feet. So after to many wines we reluctantly headed for home. Good food, great location by the water and fantastic music what more could you adsk for on a sunny afternoon

We were the only ones there when we arrived, we came for breakfast. The menu appeared to have a good range of food and drinks. The waitress was very unfriendly and didn’t speak to us, there were two waitresses neither of which spoke to us or even smiled. The food took a long time too come. We had pancakes, breakfast burger and American breakfast. The breakfast burger bun was burnt there was a tiny piece of bacon and the egg was burnt. The American breakfast was a tiny piece of bacon, egg, 2 tiny sausages , hash brown and toast. All the food was cold and the hash browns were like rocks. This is not a cheap place either. Lots of nicer restaurants at the port, don’t bother with this place.

Worst experience EVER

We came here after a day out on Malamala Island and were totally chilled and relaxed. We sat down outside and ordered a meal and my wife ordered an alcoholic drink. The drink arrived but had so much salt in it that she couldn't even take a second mouthful and sent if back to get replaced. The food took forever to arrive and when it arrived it wasn't what was on the menu. My wife ordered the prawn meal and go 5 tiny prawns around a huge pile of dry rice. All the meals were small and not enjoyable. When I went to settle up and told the lady there that this had been the worst meal I've head in year and the lady said "Thanks for your feedback, now pay up" and not even a "thanks, how can we make it up to you", or "we'll give you a 20% discount" or anything.. I took a photo of the lady at the bar and she asked why.. I told her I was going to post it on Trip Advisor to show everyone what customer service IS NOT but after we left she called the security guards who made me delete the image (just in case the world really knew how bad their restaurant was and how awful her customer service is). Will never eat there again and recommend no one else does either. If you want a bad meal and a bad experience, this is the place to go. I've eaten at 1000's of restaurants in over 50 years in over 50 countries and this has to be in my bottom 5 on my list of restaurants !!!!

Thank you for your comments and choosing to dine with us. I was present on the day you dined with us, so here is my view on your visit. I acknowledge that not always we can get everything perfect and shortage of skilled staff we do try our best. Firstly, your wife completely finished the meal she received, there was no complaint than. It is the same size meals we offer to other customers and we don't get complaints. We have photos of the finished meals as well. Secondly what right does it give you to take a photo of the person who neither took your order or served your meals. And to do it without asking is a breach of privacy, you don't take a photo without asking first, you can take photo of meals and our restaurant but unless someone gives you permission you can not take teir personal photo. On my instruction we called the security. You were looking for a cheap meal and from your behaviour were looking a way out of paying it too. The prize of food items have greatly gone up and that meal was value for prize considering what other restaurant charge around the same location Again thank you for dinning with us. Thanks.

Terrible food, slow service

We ordered two Caesar salads and they were honestly probably the worst food I’ve ever had - let alone in Fiji. It took 35 minutes to prepare and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The salad was limp and warm, the egg was brown. We didn’t finish and both ended up with dodgy stomachs.

Extremely disappointed

We had heard great reviews about this place but unfortunately we were left extremely disappointed. The eggs Benedict came on a thick piece of bread… literally! We had to ask for toast instead. The hollandaise sauce tasted like egg yolk. My omelette was so thin & just overloaded with onion it’s all i could taste. There was also a hair found in our food and cocktail. The waitress was rather quiet and we didn’t receive the usual Fijian politeness we experience elsewhere. She also forgot our knifes and forks and we had to ask her to get us some. Unfortunately very disappointing food & service.

Our new ‘go to’ place.

Not our first time there and certainly won’t be our last. Had most of our lunches/dinners there this trip and all the staff went above and beyond with there service. And Chef Sheetal Mani cooked us some amazing dishes that passers by had to stop and comment on. Prices (including drinks) were more than reasonable. So why would we go anywhere else?. Thanks ladies for an awesome amazing last night in Fiji. Rachel & Neville.

Dropped in for a cup of Kava

I dropped into The Bilo to try Kava. Besides specific Kava Bars in Nadi, Bilo was one of the only places I found to serve Kava by the cup. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.

Do yourself a favour spend your money somewhere else

We decided to have a quick lunch before we transferred to the airport. The food was awful. I had a ham and cheese sandwich with fries. It was so bad I couldn’t finish it… a couple of slices of tomatoes, some plastic cheese which was not even melted a couple of slices of ham in 6 slices of bread…. The chips were undercooked…. We would have been better off going to the local bakery!

thank you for your review. i don't fully understand your response as you received as per menu order, the slice cheese that you refer to plastic is Bega slice cheese (your home brand), and it was only 3 slice of bread with the correct slice of ham in it. it is not a standard requirement to toast them unless you requested it. thank you for again.

Great spot for delicious food and drinks

Fun spot for drinks and food with great service. We enjoyed the special of chicken fried rice and Mongolian chicken. They have lots of options to eat and drink, and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Lack of Customer Service Training

Worst experience. I came here with my partner who isn't a local it was his first time and he wanted to order a coffee so while he went in, I stood outside and greeted one of the attendants, said Yadra or good morning in itaukei - no reply. Just had her earphones on, looking disinterested in making conversation. She did say good morning to my partner though but I thought she probably didn't hear me. We sat for a good 10mins and no coffee arrived. When my partner got up to enquire, the lady behind the counter said the machine is not working and continued counting her coins. At this point we are both frustrated and walked out. No customer service mindset. She could've informed us beforehand rather than make us wait. Worst restaurant in port Denarau, would never ever go back there. Lulu's was nice. They were helpful and my partner was served in 3 minutes. Bilo bar, disappointing. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy

Vibes and drinks

This is the best place for a quick drink while you’re waiting for the bula bus on a hot day. The vibes and staff are amazing and music is always LIT! Island music and dancing waitresses are a vibe! Perfect way to cool down after a hot day of shopping!
