We went for lunch today and the food is superb. i am going back again and again this next two weeks just to have the excellent smoked marlin and bagel . The photos in all the advertising do not do it justice - this is a gem and very cool place to go to.

The venue is a collision of art, music, coffee house and pearl jewellery. The old building nicely restored forms the perfect backdrop to relax and take a load off. Like all things in the Cooks Islands it offers a nice place to unwind and enjoy the sounds of a selection of vinyl records. The coffees, teas and cakes were great.... More

The Cafe is a beautiful open-air restaurant that serves light lunches: think wonderful salads, sandwiches on marvelous bread and fresh fruit smoothies.

Located close to the Staircase and Avarua CIIC in the Beachcomber, this is a great place for a good coffee and - according to our taste - really good chocolate cake. Pricewise everything is at the level to be expected in Raro, no bad surprises in this regard, and having a pearl shop and a gallery in the same building... More

Stopped by The Cafe for a coffee and to just hang out and relax a bit. The coffee is good...real good actually but the thing that I loved was the energy of the place. They have couches and it's open air and on top of it all they have a record player and records. We say and listened to classic... More

This place takes you by surprise and it absolutely beautiful and tranquil - a great place to sit back and relax with a good cup of coffee and some great baking/sweet treat. A good spot to put of your list of places to stop when you are visiting Rarotonga.

Set inside a gallery this little cafe sells the best coffee and "berry" muffins however my treat here was the musli yoghurt and island fresh fruit.... delicious you can also browse and play your favourite song on vinyl on the little vintage player. It's just delightful so don't miss out.

A very nice cafe in one of the oldest buildings in Avarua, which had been restored. Excellent food, freedom to select and play a vinyl disc. Good gallery and gift shop next door. It's the other end of Avarua town from the market.

"The Cafe" is the only place in Rarotonga that you can enjoy an excellent meal or great coffee while you listen to the amazing sound of old vinyl records. It has such a relaxed uplifting atmosphere. Ian and Clare are a delight, always so friendly and delivering great service to their customers. We were told to try their Meatloaf Sandwich... More
