Went there for lunch with colleagues. I was advised to take the peppered filet and it was good. The brocolis were a bit tasteless... I did not have dessert but my colleagues did and they all look great.

We had a great lunch among family, service was good and fast, not so usual in Uruguay in my opinion, and the food was delicious. You can check it out, it will be good!

Come here already for years for their excellent Kassler pork rib and swiss Rosti potatoes . This time the Rosti potatoes were completely under cooked ( raw) and waiter took my complaint as a great offence .. Got another serving of Rosti potatoes almost well done but not quite as they should be . Shame for this restaurant . I... More

Had a lunch here. Although it had been highly recommended the food was disappointing. Not much creativity and bland. Hardly any German specials, but lots of food that is available in other restaurants as well. Service was OK but per functionary,

My wife and I did not feel like going very far from the hotel where we were staying at in the in-climate weather and decided to go to the German restaurant. We got there when it opened just after 8pm. We actually had our sites set on getting some schnitzel, but unfortunately it was not on the menu. My wife... More

This restaurant is in a nice area of town near the casino. We heard about their specialty, pork cutlet. Ordered that and a small bottle of chardonnay. The pork cutlet is anything but. It is simply a big over of ham. It was good though. The wine was kind of expensive, ordered a half bottle of chardonnay, didn't appear to... More

My tour bus stopped in Carrasco and we had the option for a nice lunch at a German restaurant. I had great sausage and an indigenous beer to Uruguay.... I forget the name of the beer but it was actually exceptional!!! I'm back in the USA now and forgot to write this place up!! Carrasco is actually an upscale suburb... More

Decided we just couldn't eat every night at Garcia's so we gave this a try. The place has been there forever so they must be doing something right. And they are! I had the best smoked pork chop Ever, juicy & tender. Friendly good service. Very German décor.

Kassler and rösti are a must! A classic in Arocena street in the heart of carrasco. Inside and outside meals are as equally pleasant. Serious and quality service, as well as the food
