We had a bit of everything and it was all wonderful. But whatever you order make sure to end with the de leche pancake! The staff was fun and helpful!

Got here about 1.30 and got seated immediately. It's only a small place so by 2pm, people were waiting outside for a table. Good selection of food and drinks. We had a toasted cheese sandwich and a slice of apple pie and ice cream. Both good. The thing we most enjoyed was the local feel of the cafe. Such a... More

After being in Montevideo for a month, this was SO nice to find. They had a delicious breakfast with actual scrambled eggs, toast, and coffee. I couldn't have been happier. The staff was wonderful and by far the best place for a real breakfast!

A wonderful cafe to spend a few relaxing hours soaking up the 1880's atmosphere, enjoying a coffee, lunch, and a glass of wine. Once you step across the threshold you enter a world of the past...so beautiful and warm. The staff is very attentive but will also leave you to stay and talk with friends as long as you want.... Had breakfast on a Saturday morning with my mum and siblings. Really nice atmosphere and lots of food options for breakfast. Very affordable too. Coffee was good too. Service was good, but took a while for our orders to come.

We had a snack meal but my roast veggie panini was so tasty and the coffee was good too. They do set business lunches and other bigger meals which we didn't try but looked good.

Cafe Brasilero is cafe culture. Stop in for a coffee, read the paper, converse with a friend...this is your place. Warm inviting vibe will draw you back. The food is pretty good too. We just happened to stumble across this little gem when checking out the old town and had a cup a. The second time we ordered the afternoon... More
