The view is spectacular, you never get tired of it. Its definitely one of the best sea views in the city. I think more enjoyable during daytime. The food was okay this time. I had a spaguetti, I thought it wasnt the best. The waiter, Sandy, with his big smile, his cuban accent, his kindness and positive attitude made our... More

This seafood restaurant was highly recommended to me, so I went with a colleague for an early dinner. It had a nice view over the water. The place was empty, which was not surprising since most Latins eat late and we were there for an early dinner. The menu was very limited. I ordered a piece of fish but it... More

Nice service , the menu is very limited. It seems like no investment has been done since opening. Without the view should close!

I went attracted by the view. Service very slow (1), food is nothing special(2), I bet that this restaurant without the view would be closed.

Gorgeous panoramic view of the city and the water. Absolutely beautiful sunset. So try to get a window table. Eggplant parmigiana was exquisite, very dainty: layers of thin eggplants and cheese baked together with a delicious tomato and pesto sauces. Seafood spaghetti with tomato sauce was fine – good quality seafood, nothing extraordinary here. Daily fish with a Roquefort sauce... More

I try to take friends and family for dinner or lunch to Hemingway, every time I am in Montevideo. The food is always excellent, the view is beautiful and I have never met a waiter or waitress that wasn't pleasant and attentive. If you want a Margarita, go to Mexico. If you go to Hemingway, or Uruguay for that matter,... More

We went with my wife and another couple for dinner. Two of us had Pesca del dia (Merluza), another had a Risotto with mushrooms, and I had a Salmon with Maracuya Sauce. All dishes were fantastic, and very well serve. Portions are big, you may share a starter and a main course between 2 and will be perfect. Wine list... More

Elegant restaurant, white tablecloths, candlelit, with a great view. The food was quite good, the wine recommendations excellent, and the service was superb in Spanish and English.

I was there with a friend and we ordered two "Margarita de frutos rojos" it wasn't even close what a Margarita means and I couldn't find the "frutos rojos" I just saw strawberries, also we order a "tabla para dos", the salami wasn't good, I just saw two slice of camembert and plain of black olives. I was totally disappointing!... More

Upscale, good views over the water and quality service in a relaxed environment. Nicely plated food, good if small mix of vegetarian seafood and meat choices, a short winelist and good desserts. If you want a calm, quiet place for a lunch or working dinner this is a good choice.

Thank George M
