Nice view. But be aware that the view is not complete, it doesn't face the best view of Montevideo. The quality of the food was fine. The presentation less than impressive. No capuchino, just a self service coffee pot. And hot water for a tea ( only two tea flavors to choose from).

For $30 you get a welcome glass of Champagne, a variety of first and second course and desserts (even sugar-free), plus tea or coffee. The view of Montevideo Bay and port is included in the price. Wines are expensives, but that is true of all restaurants in Montevideo.

My wife and I booked a window table for two for Sunday brunch in Montevideo on a beautiful day in February. Walking from Plaza Zabala to Independence Square was almost eerie as there neither cars nor people on the streets. This degree of quiet one does not associate with a large south American city. The hotel is the tallest building... More

Lunch buffet is only 25 dollars...this includes a welcome Champagne or aperitif. The food is perfect- a great variety of meats and cheeses with great desserts and fruit. The after lunch tea and coffee tops it off. The manager is named Gabriella and I believe she is the reason the restaurant is so perfect. She is so kind and attends... More

Disappointed that they could only offer a buffet in the evening with no a la carte menu available. Buffet also very late compared to advertised times

I was really disappointed the last time I visited this once great restaurant. Five years ago, Arcadia was virtually the best, most refined restaurant in Montevideo, which combined, a breathtaking view of the city, amazing food quality (the buffet at midday was otherworldly) and efficient, formal yet friendly service. It was never cheap, but you got what you paid for.... More

Had lunch which was reasonable for a 3 course meal. You are surrounded by views of the city and port which makes the experience special specially for out of town guests. The food was fine.
