Supposed to be the best restaurant in Urubamba. The food was good -- I had alpaca, but the servers were not nice. Better food and overall experience in the hotel.

My wife and I shared the ricotta coquettes, chicken with caramelised apples, the alpaca "lasagna" and a frozen passion fruit cheese tart - all of which were quite tasty. Our only quibble is that some of the dishes had portions that were a bit too strong tasting (e.g. Salty) for our tastebuds.

After being stranded in the Tambo Del Inca hotel for a few days, due to a protest, we decided to check out this famed restaurant in small town of Urubamba. The restaurant is charming with an outdoor area, a small oasis. Service is kind and attentive. The food is good and creative. Quite a pleasant experience. Would go back.

We made a stop on El Huacatay back from visiting the ruins in Ollantaymbo and before getting back to our hotel, it was a great place to relax, have a pisco sour and enjoy excellent food!

We went for lunch with my Peruvian brother in law. We had been before. But everything he ordered they didn't have. They recommended a dish which he ordered and then they returned and said it was not available. We orderd peruvian Cabernet wine and they didn't have it. Then a Malbec and again nada ! Overall the food was good.... More

We had a great lunch here while visiting the valley. We lingered longer than we needed to, but the food was very good and the atmosphere relaxed. It's local ingredients, but more creative preparation.

So unexpected. Opened the door to a small courtyard filled with trees & flowers and tables. We sat outside. Our lunch was delicious. Lama steak, very tender, sweet potato ravioli with a chilantro sauce. Quinoa and roasted vegetables.

Very well balanced tastes. The lomo de alpaca is just unbelievable. Desserts are also very good, the fried chocolate truffles a must.

We were recommended to eat here by friend and we were not disappointed. The food was great and reasonably priced and the atmosphere and service was very good. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to people travelling in Urubamba.

I sat with friends and watched as they finished the meals they had ordered and I sat with nothing. Totally poor service and no apology.
