Our driver brought us here for lunch and it was wonderful. The restaurant is huge with both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered a pitcher of Chicha Morada and grilled trout (trucha) which was served with rice and steamed vegetables. Prices were quite reasonable and portion size was also good. We were so full that we did not want to... More

I had the tremendous fortune of living next door to Dona Clorinda's for 2 years and I never got sick of the food. I ate there at least 2 times a week. The place is run by Dona Clorinda and her daughter Mati, meticulous hosts who ensure excellent food and hospitality. Discover Cusquenan cuisine and enjoy feeling like you're at... More

Our guide brought us here after a visit to the Pisac Market. Kind of out of the way, needs transportation to get there from the market. The food here is good - we liked the quinoa soup, and the beef for the loma saltado is probably the most tender of the 4 to 5 times we had the dish (from... More

Our tour guide took us here for lunch. This was our first meal in Peru, and probably our most memorable. We ate outdoors, portions were so huge we could not finish what we ordered. Service was warm, Mattie was so friendly. Quinoa soup was probably the best I had in Peru. My son says hello to Ramona the cat. We... More

I went in to purchase a snack and ordered a mushroom and cheese empanada for 4 soles. Typically, an empanada is 1 or 2 soles but I read good reviews about this place so I wanted to try it. The boy who takes my order urges me to buy more... Miss a soda, please? Something to drink? I politely decline... More

We stayed 8 nights. Loved it. Had wonderful breakfasts served outdoors in the garden. Lovely views of the surrounding mountains. Mati and her mother, Dona Clarinda, were wonderful hosts.

15 years ago I had my first meal at Doña Clorinda's and since then whenever I am in Pisac I make it my mission to stop in for a meal. Doña Clorinda came to Pisac many years ago from Lima with her 5 children in tow and began by selling empinadas and stuffed potatoes in the plaza. With hard work,... More

This was a small restaurant but staff was very hospitable and friendly. They made some special dishes for us as were all vegeterarians. The scenery of mountains was very nice. Service could have been a bit faster.

We had a delicious and fresh trout at this local family ran restaurant that is as down to earth as you can imagine. The quinoa soup was to die for, probably the best in Peru. The prices are cheap but the quality of the food was outstanding. Sometimes, you just can't judge the book by its cover and this restaurant... More

Our group of 14 stopped here for lunch after a long day of excursions to Kinsa Ccocha and surrounding areas of Pisac. Tucked off a dirt road, it seemed like it might be one of those bus-stop restaurants. There were several options, including a huge buffet, for less than $15 all-inclusive! The food was excellent, fresh, organic from the Sacred... More
