We decided to eat there due to the amount of beautiful reviews.
Good location. We had to wait ~20 minutes but staff offered us juice and snacks for the time being.
Loved to colour the table mats while waiting for food. Waiting time reasonably short...for the amount of clients. Staff friendly and welcoming.
I personally didn't love the parmesan scallops as too cheese. The covered the taste of the seafood. Same for the parmesan food.
Really good tiraditos (ceviche) they melt in your mouth!
Also loved the deserts especially passion fruit Cheesecake and meringue cake!
Prices slightly higher then average but totally worth it. Shame for the too cheesy fishMore
Arrived in Lima, went to hotel and had lunch here. It was a Sunday and the place was buzzing with local people enjoying themselves. Always a good sign when there are more locals than tourists. Having no idea what to order we opted for the...stuff we had heard of, namely Pisco sour and ceviche. Both were glorious. We subsequently learned that ceviche is usually served with sweet corn and sweet potato on the side, an unlikely combination which works really well. Fantastic first meal on a memorable trip……wish I could go back!More
We ate here twice. We enjoyed the first visit that included pulpo with olive sause (tvery tender and tasty) and a couple of entrees. We went back a week later. This time I ordered Pescado Lo Macho and was was disappointed. This is a popular Peruvian...dish, but the shellfish was chewy and the sauce was too salty for my taste. The service was OK during both visits, but not great. My rating of 3 is an average of a 4 on the first visit and a 2 on the second.More
7 of us went while staying 15 minute walk away at the Jose Antonio. We might have waited 5-6 minutes without any reservation. Great waiter, great quick service. I had the fish soup and it had so much seafood that I couldn’t finish it all....One person had the most delicious octopus I’ve ever had, others had shrimp or calamari appetizer and it was great, one had a beautiful looking dish of salmon. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the prices were reasonable. Great house Chardonnay.More
We came here for lunch and had to wait almost an hour to get a seat. Our food was very good, plenty of Peruvian seafood options making worth the wait. The place has way too many customers and everyone seemed a little overwhelmed but once...we got a table service was quick. Food was good and not priceyMore

I've experienced similar thing today. My waiter insisted to leave a 20% tip. First he told me, the 20% service fee is not included, when he printed out the receipt (I paid by credit card) he pointed out the tip line and asked me to write down 20% tip. I asked him back and said "Well shouldn't I tip how much ever i want to?" and I just put down 10% for a bad service. Felt like i felt for a tourist trap. He did not offer an English Menu either and I didnt know it existed. I read online that 10% is sufficient in Peru and asking for 20% was ridiculous. I asked him for the suggestion of food and he suggested one of the expensive foods - 59 soles for Lobster fettucini- and now it makes me think that he suggested more expensive food just to earn more tips. It isn't much to tip him but i was super annoyed how the server behaved and pressured us to pay a 20% service charge. I believe his name was Jorge and i hope this place trains their workers not to pressure customers to tip them.
