So, to begin with, when one hires a car for the day, one doesn't refer to a "car and driver". No, one has a, ahem, a chauffeur! Well, la di da! And yes, it was totally worth it. But this review is not about chauffeurs but rather a restaurant. And in this case it is easy to sum up: -... More

Decided to finish stay in Lima with a nice meal, was staying in Barranco and this place was recommended by the owner of the Airbnb place I stayed in. Arrived without reservation and was taken to the bar, decided to order a Pisco Sour. Staff then led me to my table. Had the causa as starter and really enjoyed it.... More

The decor and atmosphere here is reminiscent of Mexican palace restaurants, albeit in an upscale fashion. Open air, with modern decor, hip and friendly waiters, and a great menu. Stick to the house specialities marked by asterisks - the other food is only mediocre. But the pulled pork (a special the night I was there) and the rare tuna with... More

Shaved hearts of palm salad and causa started our meal. We had never seen hearts of palm served fresh. The salad was delicious and refreshing. The causa was also very good. We enjoyed our entrees but the same sauce was used on the sea bass, which was room temperature and the plate cold so the sauce was thick, and the... More

The food really really good, the atmosphere lovely however the attention is very poor, so much that I would not go back to this restaurant.

The bartender was friendly and made fabulous pisco sours. We ate here twice while staying in the Barranco neighborhood. The menu was extensive but we stuck to the seafood and cerviche. The presentation, quality and size of the dishes was excellent. It was a charming, unusual atmosphere.

Went to lunch with a friend midweek and it seemed a little off the beaten path. Doesn't look like much from the outside but it a very pleasant atmosphere. Wait staff was attentive and the menu was interesting. We tried the ceviche classic style and the ceviche Nikkei. Both were very good. Want to try it again at night.

My client took a large group of us to dine at Amoramar. The restaurant staff were well-prepared for our group and served us endless bread and wine as appetizers. Our meals were delicious and the dessert was equally as good. This restaurant is in the artsy, up-and-coming Barranco district and was well worth the drive from the Miraflores district.

We had an early lunch reservation 12:30, with the reservation confirmation they said that we had to be punctual, for the reservations were only hold for some amount of time. As this was our first time in this restaurant, we did our best to arrive on time, so we ended up arriving 5 minutes early, and they still weren't open.... More

Came here for lunch without a booking. It wasn't busy and we were seated straight away. The atmosphere was really nice like seating inside a garden with trees. The service was very good and quick! The ceviche is delicious ... must go.

Located in the traditional district of Barranco, Amoramar is installed in a republican house with a minimalist and contemporary patio; offering its clients dishes from today, along with classics from always. In Amoramar, enjoy lunch in the shadows of the trees. Dare to break the myth of "not eating cebiche during the night".
