4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

We had heard that this place is very popular so we called ahead for reservations for the 4 of us only to be told that they don't take reservations. So we planned to get there right when it opens at 12:30 pm and I was surprised to be asked whether or not we had a reservation! But anyhow we did... More

Nice place, easy parking, and most of all, it is one of the best places to eat the already famous peruvian typical food and drinks, such as the Pisco Sour (the real and only). If you come to Lima and you are a gourmet you cannot miss this restaurant.

Octopus Anticucho was SALTY Steak was SALTY Scalloped Potatoes... you guessed it! SALTY! They said the Sancochado would take 30 minutes... it took ONE HOUR and the beef was so full of fat it made me sick. I'd expect these at a cheap restaurant, but one that is owned by famous Chef... hummm

Recently I went to Lima and visit Central, Maido, Astrid y Gastón, Oso, etc. and of course Panchita. Have to say this was the best restaurant of all the aforementioned. It is honest, without pretensions but with great taste, specialised on the true Peruvian cuisine. I did not have to make reservation; a plus, restaurant was full and I had... More

We went there with a party of 20 for a pre-wedding dinner. The food was very good and the service was excellent which is not easy in a party of 20. The atmosphere was very nice.

We visited here on our first day in Lima and spent most of our time looking at everyone else's food. It was different to anything we had seen before. The portions were huge and we didn't eat for the rest of the day. Well worth a visit to try out a variety of traditional dishes.

We only had meats and they were all excellent -- anticuchos as good as we had in all of Peru and we unanimously agreed that the pork roast was the best we had ever tasted!
