Where I come from (Melbourne) bars go to a lot of trouble to try and create the ambience that Queirolo has developed over the decades. Obviously a local bar but with enormous wood paneled, wine bottle lined, gritty elegance. Our beef stew looked like an enormous lump of meat but was tasty and tender. Very convenient to Plaza San Martin.

Friendly atmosphere, now great for non-smokers and families with Kids. There's a variety of drinks, specially with Pisco.

We came across this bar in San Ysidro after leaving the Museo Larco. It was packed with people on a Sunday afternoon. Everyone seemed happy and relaxed. We ordered a couple beers at the bar and just sat and listened to the buzz and chatter of all the patrons. Soccer was on the TV. It felt like we slipped into... More

Very nice atmosphere, good service and as mentioned in the title, the sanguche de jamón del país was delicious.

Went with some friends to this traditional place to have a couple of drinks and it had a great atmosphere, the drinks were exquisite and service superb. Very impressed and it was also quite clean.

Compared to La Mar, the more up market ceviche place we went to, while the menu was more limited the food was tasty substantial and better value. It had a relaxed atmosphere and less 'exclusive' clientele. Well worth a visit at lunchtime.

This place looks old. It transpire tradition. Locals having a beer and reading the news. Love it! I had a great pork sandwich of chicha morada. Highly recommended. A little far from downtown. Close to the museum of history and archeology at the district of Pueblo Libre

I visited this place because it was recommended to visit for Pisco Sours. It was a little hard to find but me and the taxi driver finally did. They were right. The bar is rather large with 2 or 3 various seating areas. There is a room with TV's where people will watch soccer games. I ordered a Pisco Sour... More

I always look for a typical old world type bar to get a flavour of whatever country I am visiting, and for sure you will enjoy this old cantina type bar, large beers are a must or of course watch how the locals drink the native pisco..well worth the trip to Pueblo Libra
