Hungry and tired, we wanted Chifa, but these days they are so greasy, "cheap" and salty. In... More

Delicious Chifa with duck in two different types of preparation. A true highlight of Chinese food. I would recommend to all. If you decide to go, ask for 1 dish to share with two people because the portions are really big.

Because of the peking duck on the menu, I tried this restaurant. It was good. However, it was not the tradional skin alone in pancakes with the plum sauce. We did get 2 courses and it was wel prepared. What we enjoyed much was the chicken cwauw mein. Great flavour and not fatty at all. Service was good.

Wa Lok is a very well located restaurant, close to Huaca Pucllana in Miraflores and near to many Hotels. This chinese restaurant offers a traditional menu, all the dishes I have tasted are very good, from basic siu mai or wantan, to pekin duck. Excellent service and food quality. Of course it is not a cheap Chinesse restaurant, we have... More

I absolutely love this place (Chinatown location) every visit is delightful, gets very busy at lunchtime and dinner but worth the wait. I recommend go around 3-4 pm.

This chifa (Chinese-Peruvian restaurant) is one of the bests in town. It is a very old and traditional and used to bd long ago in chinatown. Now you can find one in miraflores. Its especially great for big groups of people. Food is very tasty and they have all traditional chifa dishes plus traditional Chinese dishes you don't find in... More

Terrible food and service. The smell and cleanliness of this place was truly disgusting. Would not ever recommend it. Expensive for what type of place this is. Wouldn't be surprised if people have gotten sick here.

The food here is really good and the servings are quite generous. The environment is adequate for family and friends meetings.

We are here and stuffed ourselves thoroughly. Had the special fried rice which I highly recommend. Wontons were good, noodles were not so great. Would skip those and stock to the rice. Also got spicy chicken. Which wasn't spicy but the waiter brought out two different kinds of hot sauce so that helped! Overall was a very nice Chinese meal.... More

Note: Believe my husband and I ate at the Wa Lok location in Chinatown in the El Centro neighborhood of Lima. The address of that site is Jr. Paruro 878. While touring around Lima, my husband and I saw numerous Chifa (Chinese) restaurants and wanted to try one of the best. Both our guide book and tour guide recommended Wa... More
