We know came here on several occasions to taste different dishes and can now confirm that this is a top ceviche restaurant. Ask for glutamate free preparation, as all ceviche restaurants use MSG these days. As a desert we asked some chicharon de calamar and this was super fresh, best I ever had and I am a calamari fan! Service... More

A local friend that loves food took us for lunch at this restaurant. Service was good and food was amazing. Try the cebiche and the pulpo.

Menu LOOKS expensive - but, portions are "old-Peru" & many (most?) are share-able. Perfect cebiche. "Diego" a true mozo

My boyfriend is burned and raised Peruvian. He is very selective about his food and restaurants. Especially when we were in his hometown, El Huarike was his first stop. We were no stranger to Peruvian food. We ordered our usual: conchitas a la chalaca, ceviche concha negra, and el bolichero. This was the best seafood feast I had in my... More

We always go here when we return to Lima as its just around the corner from my Wife's Parents house and every time we eat here the food is excellent. The service and the price is also very good. Its a typical Peruvian fish restaurant which I would definitely recommend. We will keep on returning here as we've just had... More

Lima is about "fusion food" these days but this restaurant is "proudly Peruvian". There is very wide selection of dishes. I was there twice with 3 business colleagues and we all had different and very nice and tasty meals. Prices are very affordable too.

El Huarike makes honor to its Quechau origin name, which means a hidden place where they cook deliciously.Every time I go back to Lima, I make time to stop by El Huarike. The food and attention to details is superb, we ate this time Choritos a la Chalaca, Tacuatacu de Mariscos, a Piqueo frio de pescado and a delicious ceviche... More
