I had at least five different people (both from the US and Peruvians) tell me I must go to Tanta. It was overhyped. The food was good and reasonably priced, but it wasn't even the best meal I had in Lima. The fritter appetizers were...More

Menu is mostly local food but there's some more "international" things. It's good and portions are big. Compared to Peruvian standards it's not cheap but very affordable for western tourists.

Nicely located in the San Isidro district of Lima. A very good restaurant serving typical Peruvian dishes and delicious pastries. Super service with pleasant atmosphere. Very friendly staff and good prices. Relax and enjoy.

The lomo saltado was delicious! It was the gold standard for the rest of the trip! Casual local dining near the Novetel Lima where we stayed. Would definitely recommend!

Professional staff, nice and clean and ideally located; it offers generous serves of tasty food but the highlights are definitely the "postres": don't miss them!!!!

Im a big fan of ají de gallina and I still remember the delicious taste of this dish. The restaurant is very casual and family friendly And everything we tried was really good. The food feels home made and the portions are very generous.

You know you are going to get authenticity when you eat with lots of locals. My friend had aguadito, a traditional stew and loved it so much she got the recipe and will make it when she gets home. Good food at good prices.

This place was close to our hotel (Novotel San Isidro) and we went there several times because the food was so good and not too pricey. The Peruvian cuisine is world-famous so make the most of it on your trip to Lima.

Hi, I agree with the receip from Paobell. Just keep in mind that in the US you need to look for lime instead of lemon. Our Peruvian Lime is small and has a lot of acid. Personally I prefer lower sugar syrup, but that... More
