Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great food, friendly, the service is good, everything looks delicious and tasty. The only thing is that you have to be very specific if you want an appetizer and an entree, make sure you let them know that you want the appetizer first, otherwise you get everything at the same time.
All in all we enjoyed eating.

We arrived just in time at lunchtime to get the prime spot of the table overlooking the Plaza de Armas with the open window beside us, enabling some super photos.
I do speak Spanish, but the waiter was super friendly and helpful to everyone. We had great food in generous portions: arroz con mariscos for me and quinoa dusted chicken for companion. Very reasonably priced with cusquiños, water and lovely coffees.
This is not a tourist trap despite the guy on the pavement trying to lure you up the stairs. We just walked up ourselves without him :)

I didn’t expect much bc in my experience restaurants that are in a very touristic location aren’t good or authentic at all but this place was great!
The food was delicious and the waitress was very nice. For about 4 of us it was 50 US dollars. Which is pricier than when we are at the San Pedro market ($20) but still very affordable and good.

Went in for dinner a few nights ago and the food is for sure delicious, BUT they cannot handle a packed house. Not even a big restaurant either. Maximum of 30 people and it took my friend and I close to 3 hours to get out.

The food was delicious. We had Arroz con Mariacos and Trucha a la Vesca. The service was a bit slow, but that is management’s fault. This place was packed with only two servers. They should have had another server. Rodolfo was very kind. Maracuja Sour was yummy too.

The view from this restaurant is beautiful, the food was ok. This was the place that I tried Guinea pig for the first time. It’s worth stopping by if not sure where to eat, but it didn’t exactly stand out.

Good view to the Plaza de Armas, however food wasn’t really good or outstanding. Ceviche too salty, the shrimp soup actually unpleaseant and the royal hamburguer didn’t have any special taste too it, too plain.

My partner and I ate our first meal in Cusco and it was AMAZING! We will definitely going back to eat there again during our time in Cusco. We loved every bit of it. The service was great. Our wonderful server Jhanira was so amazing, genuine and kind. She gave us honest recommendations about the menu and some suggestions to help with our altitude sickness. The menu was varied which was nice as it accommodates all travellers, they have traditional plates such as cuy and anticucho for those who want to try something new. However, they also have plates like spaghetti and meat sauce for those who wish to play it a little safer. She checked in to make sure we liked the food every time she brought us a new plate. The meal we had was S./25 but it came with an appetizer, a main course, dessert and a free drink. If you do visit Estancia Andina you have to try the Passionfruit Juice (Maracuya). They make it fresh everyday and it was the best Maracuya juice I’ve had in all my time in Peru. On top of it all, the view of the Plaza de Armas is wonderful! We sat on a balcony directly in front of it. If it is cold the close the windows and put the heat on so that you can enjoy the view but not freeze haha. They also played light typical music which was nice.
Overall, we loved our experience at La Estancia Andina and would recommend it to any of our family or friends. And we will definitely be paying it some more visits before we leave! Thank you Jhanira and thank you La Estancia Andina!

My wife and I had lunch here on our first full day in Cusco. Yes, we found it by someone approaching us with a menu on the street (as many of the restaurants do)...but, unlike many reviews on here, we found the food to be quite good. In addition to good food, there was some nice music and, perhaps most importantly, some amazing views of the plaza. The staff was also very friendly (all be it a bit slow), allowing us to move to a table over looking the plaza even after we had already sat at another table and ordered. Finally, the prices were quite comparable to other restaurants on the plaza. Overall, I would recommend this place for a decent meal with very nice views.

I ordered a beef gordon blue and I asked a lo pobre style, I takes really good with a cusqueña.
My father ordered chupe de camaron that he loved.
They did not take my credit card, only cash, it was the only down part of the visit
