As we were descending from Saksaywaman, we were looking for food, and stumbled on this little cafe on the corner. It is the definition of quaint, with only 2 rooms and might seat 25 people max. The owner does the cooking and the serving, and makes every dish fresh from scratch, but it pays to be patient. There are some games- jenga, labyrinth- and books. There is also calming music in the background, and an overall atmosphere of pleasant relaxation.
Then the food arrives. The freshest food I had while I was in Cusco. The tastes dance on your tongue, and the flavours blend together beautifully. The pricing is very reasonable, I had a salad, main, desert and a tea for 25 soles. You can’t beat that! The restaurant itself was very clean, and the facilities were well stocked as well.

VERY friendly staff, delicious food and drinks!! Highly recommend this place for breakfast,lunch and dinner! They also make their own ice cream if your just looking for a sweet treat!!

Walked into La Esquina by chance looking for lunch. It has a lovely warm atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. The coffee, tea and sandwiches were all excellent and the menu was interesting enough that we will most likely visit again.

We stumbled across this little treat whilst looking for a sandwich shop we had seen on here, it looks so quaint and also did sandwiches we thought we'd give a try. Glad we did as it was lovely. Small place but lovely staff, icecream milkshakes were sooo tasty. We ended up having two sandwiches Veggie and the beef bread was lovely, fluffy and fresh best bread we have had in Cusco, also had two milkshakes from the icecream you pic at the counter and a caramel crepe. Highly recommend if you are after a snack, sweet treat, or lunch.

Would absolutely recommend this family owned establishment for a delicious meal. My wife and I came in for a quick bite and everything we ordered was phenomenal. From the coffee to main course, everything was perfect.

This was by far our favorite spot in Cusco! We came here for breakfast, coffee, and multiple ice cream stops. The owner is incredibly nice and they have some of the best ice cream I've ever had! Definitely recommend this spot.

I have lived in Cusco for a month and I love this little place. The couple that owns it is so friendly! I have loved everything I’ve gotten here (lasagna, sandwiches, cappuccinos) and it’s a great spot to come with friends or to do some work. Their ice cream is the best and most affordable I’ve had in Cusco. Very clean and prompt service!

This cafe might be easy to miss as it is located in a corner of some smaller streets. Inside of the cafe is not that big but luckily we were able to get the last table. Cafe is run by a local family and we were especially impressed with one of the daughter’s English skills! Recommendation for dessert: try the mint ice cream!

A cute cafe with friendly staff and delicious artisan ice cream. A comfortable space fit for relaxation and conversation. Would recommend for coffee or dessert while taking a load off your feet after walking around the beautiful San Blas.

We were greeted with a friendly bienvinedos from both people behind the counter the gentleman explained the flavours we had a taste test and then purchased a cone each. They were delicious!

Review by Bella aged 11: A friendly welcome at this cute cafe! The lady let us try lots of ice cream flavours before we ordered. They spoke good English. The ice cream was really yummy - we had Lucuma flavour. Also very good chocolate milkshakes.

What a find! Agree with the previous reviews........ this little cafe is well worth a visit if you just want a fairly light meal rather than a 'heavy' dinner. Omelettes with chips, followed by home made ice cream and couldn't resist the apple pie. Visit this cafe, you will not be disappointed...........quiet and good value.
