Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's no easy to find descent croissants in Cusco and here you can get them at a reasonable price. My daughter and I also enjoy their pan de canela. Can't recommend their madeleines though. The edges are crusty and too much sugar.

It is a lovely place to sit for a coffee and cake while you explore the historic centre of Cusco. The location is a bit off the touristic path though, among many businesses that are more frequented by the locals than the tourists. They offer a small assortment of freshly baked goods, as well as a seating area overlooking the busy street.

This was frequented by locals and we completely understand why. The pastries were delicious and flaky. They sold out of empanadas so get there early for better selection. The prices were the most reasonable for our entire trip. It was a bit further from the central area but a very easy walk. Don’t miss out on this gem!

Best panaderia in Cusco! They have the best cheese empanadas and pan de chocolate ! We went here multiple times for class outings or to play cards during our study abroad semester and we loved it! Ask the owner about what the profits go towards, a really good cause! Also if you’re interested in learning a few Quechua phrases the owner was always willing to teach us new things as we were taking a class.

The place doesn't look like much, but nothing beats their pan de chocolates! You can sit down or just grab them to go like the locals do. The coffee's ok, too. Not to be missed!

I came and grabbed some things to go for the family since we had a morning flight to catch. For around $10 US, I got 4 pastries (croissant, pain au chocolat, cinnamon roll, raisin pastry), 2 ham and cheese baguette sandwiches and a fresh passionfruit-papaya juice. I can't even get a fresh juice and 1 pastry for $10 at home! The pastries were all very good and fresh, croissant had a nice flakey texture. Pain au chocolate had a good amount of chocolate. My kids enjoyed the baguette sandwiches and said that the bread was very good. They didn't even let me have a bite. She pressed the juice for me while I waited. It's a small shop with a few small tables. I enjoyed everything we had, and I would definitely recommend coming here for your morning pastries.

We were walking to the Inca Rail station and happened to pass by this bakery. We stopped in and picked up their almond chocolate croissant and their raisin croissant and they were crazy good. I am sorry ☹️ I didn't pick up more.

We found this place on trip advisor and tried it out one morning and it definitely did not disappoint! The cinnamon roll bread was amazing and the rest of the pastries and juices looked and were delicious. Can’t help but support a place like this that gives back to the community like it does.

By far, in Cusco, I haven't been able to find--or even compare--any other croissant, cinnamon or chocolate rolls and madelenas. Every time I am around the area, I make sure to get off the bus a stop earlier to get some rolls at Qosqo Maki.

I have eaten a croissant from Panaderia Qosko Maki for the past 30 days and everyday I have an almost transcendent experience. These are the crispy, melt in your mouth kind of croissants that make each day worth living. Ask them to heat your bread up in the microwave (especially pan de chocolate) because it really levels up when it’s warm. The location shown on TripAdvisor is not really correct- it isn’t by the traffic circle, it is a short walk down Tullumayu on the right side of the street.
