On arrival into Cusco, we didn't find anything suitable to eat at the hotel we were staying at, so walked down to the main square around where the huge Cathedral is, where there were lots and lots of restaurants vying for your business. We had a pizza each at this place, and must admit it was one of the nicest... More

I last went here 18 years ago for the Cuy. I brought my kids for the first time. This was our first stop in Cusco and they loved it. It is GREAT food. Enjoy!

This hidden gem is a must for anyone looking for Peruvian-Italian fusion. The wait staff were incredibly attentive and we had a lovely evening.

We enjoyed a really nice meal here and thought the prices better than a couple of others we looked at. The house wine was also very smooth. A group of 7 were at another table and the presentation of the guinea pig was much better than a terrible one i had elsewhere. A small ethnic band played 4 songs before... More

I dropped in here as the first restaurant in Peru. The service was fine, the food reasonable although I only had a soup and drink. However that was fine and accepted. The electrics are however a little suspect and this review is hopefully to be submitted via their fast and free WiFi provided that the last (fifth) interruption to power... More

You can easily tell the good restaurants in Cusco, they don't employ hawkers waving a menu in your face as you walk by. I recalled this place from 30 years ago when I was here, and you know it's still good. Great service, good Italian food and a great little local band playing their so he, just to remind you... More

We are on a tour of South America, and our group (20) went to Paititi last night for a group meal. Fortunately, our guide speaks Spanish, although the waiters can communicate a little. First, the menu is in both Spanish and English, which solves a lot of problems. Most of the group had pizza, and they all thought it was... More

We wanted to check out the soccer game and the typical pubs in Cusco center were full or bad. We noticed this place had a huge projection screen up so randomly stopped in here. The prices were a bit cheaper than other places and the pizza was average. The decor suggests a much fancier fare but they seem to appeal... More

We needed something appetising, nutritious, comforting and safe as I was energy less from cold. One of my friends had potato soup and I had chicken soup, both of which were amazingly delicious! The staff didn't speak any English and we spoke no Spanish, but waitstaff are very kind and thoughtfully brought a plate of seasoned rice to go with... More

Although it wasn't the same as pizza in the United States, we enjoyed having a pepperoni and a Hawaiian pizza here for lunch. Would recommend it for a place that's covenient as you're in the square area. Can only speak to the pizza. We thought it was decent, and we left happy.

Description
The restaurant "El Paititi " (El Dorado) was once part of the palaces of the Inca nobility and was the residence of Tupac Yupanqui, the sovereign tenth Inca and successor of Pachacutec, who took correinado probably between 15 and 20 years. After the death of his father became absolute position of power around 30 years. The place was part of the religious and cultural center of the capital of the Inca empire. After the conquest was occupied by the Spaniards who surrounded him temples and built mansions. Our cuisine is complemented with Peruvian dishes from the region of Cusco , national and international . We also complemented with a proposal of Shushi , pastas and pizzas.
