Been here once before and not overly impressed but decided to go back for the special St. P day celebration which they said on FB started at 5 p.m. (they open at 4 p.m.) Got there at 4:00 p.m. since we wanted to get good seats for eating, drinking and watching the band. And this place is close to where... More

It was my first time in Quito, so I didn't know any place where I could go with my coworkers for a beer after a long day, so we checked trip advisor to seek for a pub and found this one. The staff is very friendly. We went there twice within a week, the food menu has good variety and... More

A friend recommended us this place for a couple of beers. They have good local beer, but that they they didn't have them all, just the stout, pale ale and blonde. The place has its charm and it's really nice. There is also a food menu (which we didn't try). The music is not so loud and there weren't people... More

We recently visited Quito and were craving a bit of American. Unfortunately, we visited Turtle's Head on a holiday/Monday night so the place was dead. In fact we were the only two people in the bar. Luckily, that didn't matter to the bar tender or cook. We ordered a plate of nachos and fish and chips with two margaritas. The... More

On a Thursday it was empty until 9 pm, totally overpriced, definitely not an expat bar anymore, cramped with empty tables, if you are a "westerner" don't go there, you'll feel out of place

On the recommendation of TA reviews, my husband and I walked here from our hotel on a night in Quito. First we couldn't get in - the gate was locked and there was no response after ringing the bell numerous times. We and a few others waiting finally got in when someone opened the side gate to remove garbage. The... More

Initially a viz themed pub, but based very much on a British pub....The music was 80's music and on the two visits made, it was busy. A good selection of drinks, cocktails were very strong and large.....nice!!! The ale brewed is good, but maybe too fizzy when compared to ales from the UK. We had food on one occasion, it... More
