Went here with a party of 12 and we had the upstairs patio and dining table to ourselves. The service was excellent and the food very tasty. Highly recommend going here.

Not a great place, the food is average, nothing spectacular and the place is cold, it doesn´t have a great ambiance.

In my experience, there aren't many great restaurants in North Quito so this necessitates travel to the big hotel area of town where much of the good food can be found. We have several Asian restaurants where we live but the food is not high quality. Thankfully, ZAO is within reasonable driving distance. We came down last Friday night and... More

Great thai food in Quito. Large portions and good service. My only complaint was it is not spicy like thai food in thailand or other parts of the world. The Ecuadorians dont like spicy food, so next time i go, will definately ask for more spice.

If you want to spend a lot of money on meh food and forget you're in Quito, have at it. I am probably not the target audience, but this place boasts a posh atmosphere, and more expensive and less tasty sushi than the best sushi restaurants in the states. Had a bite of my friend's Pad Thai, and it was... More

We decided to go to Zao for dinner on a Thursday evening during our 3 days stay in Quito. We picked it because it had a nice combination of Asian dishes and vegetarian options (my Fiancé is vegan). Overall food was very good and tasty - I had the soft fried tofu with veggies and my Fiancé the pad Thai... More

Enjoyed it. We were tired of local food (sorry!) and I had the Kung Pao chicken and he had the chicken curry. both dishes were good. Service was excellent. Within walking distance to where we stayed.
