My brother and I ate here for lunch today. I ordered the fish of the day. I was first impressed by the presentation, but then I was blown away by the amazing flavors of the dish. It was the best fish I have had in my life. It was absolutely delicious! Our waiter also brought us delicious bread with a... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant as I was jumping away from a rogue dog and the restaurant owner was at the door to see me stumble. He was a very pleasant fellow with good English so we decided to try it. It was worthwhile. He started us with a tray of toasted bread with two dipping sauces (one being chili)... More

I ordered a chupe de mariscos which was the worse I have eaten in a long time. And the ceviche ordered by my partner was a salmon and tilapia mix, but there was more tilapia than salmon

We took a bus from Santiago to visit the beautiful Valparaiso city. After walking all around town, we had lunch at this beautiful small restaurant. The menu was great with many seafood dishes as well as stew and 'soup'. The pisco sour was really good and authentic although the serving was a bit small. I don't know if the owner... More

We chose Cocina Puerto because our tour guide said it was one of his favorite restaurants. It was easy to get to, just a short walk from the funicular. We were not disappointed. The ambiance of the place was great--beautiful artwork on the walls, excellent music playing in the background, lovely street. The food did not disappoint. We asked for... More

Excellent restaurant, outstanding food! We entered by chance with my husband and we were impressed with the quality of the food. We ate a delicious corvina (fish) with great salad and a wonderful humita with seafood. Nice place, good music, well served. Impossible to miss.

We chose this place on a whlm having eyed up the other restaurants in the vicinity. It turned out to be a really good choice. The restaurant was not packed and some of the customers where families out for lunch. The food was delicious and beautifully cooked. I had the salmon dish and my husband had Pastel de Jaiba (Chilean... More

Liked the atmosphere and setting but unfortunately the food was just so-so. The interior was comfortable and when we walked in on a recommendation we thought, "this looks great....not touristy but clean and inviting". But, you go out for a meal to have a nice meal and our meals were boring and average at best.

Visited on the recommendation of a local hotelier... On the face of it an exciting proposition was let down by an incompetent kitchen and disinterested service staff. The food which promised so much was so poorly put together it was barely worth eating.. An owners presence, energy and oversight is much needed..

We had a great dinner in this restaurant, everything was very well set. The food was amaizing and surprising. Service was perfect also, very kind waitress. We had a curanto which is a traditional chilean meal. It was perfect!!! It was for 2, but three can eat generously. Dessert was also perfect. Totally worth it!
