We are staying at the hotel Atton Vitacura, the Starnberg is a a few blocks from the hotel. Very good, authentic German food at a reasonable price. Nice selection of beer, outdoor seating perfect to enjoy beer with friends

This is a pleasant surprise in Santiago. The food is really quite similar to a legitimate German restaurant. Naturally they can't get all of the ingredients but they do a really job of getting close. The ham hocks were excellent and they even bought more meat out when my host asked for more. Beer of course is served in traditional... More

The restaurant's style remineded me of the German Black Forrest... :) Prizes are okay for Vitacura. Furthermore you get great portions that are very tasty with fresh ingredients as well. From my experience it was the cleanest restaurant (& even restrooms) in Santiago. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) nobody was speaking German over there... ;) However, there is nothing to moan and... I think his place is terrific. I had a fantastic roasted pork knuckle with red cabbage. It was spot on. Schnitzels are very good. The menu is more varied with salads etc that more in line with healthy eating. I will return.

We went there today and all we can say is that the service was great. The appetizer we ordered (named crudo) was a great surprise and the duck in orange sauce was also terrific. The specialties menu is a synonym for good food. The price is not that expensive compared to some other places. We ordered 2 plates, an appetizer,... More

Today was an unusually cool and cloudy spring day, so I opted to have German food for lunch. Starnberg turned out to be a great option. The locale feels German without being an over-the-top stereotype. The service was excellent, efficient, and proper. The servers obviously have the experience to know exactly what needs to be done when. The menu has... More

We liked this place and the food is good enough. If you go on Sundays you may find the place full so it will take a long waiting time for the food (40 min) The food is good if you have been in Europe specially in Munich you may find similar flavores. 100% recommend

If you have nerver been in Europe, maybe they can cheat you, but whoever has taste German food will say like me: this is definetivelly not agerman food (Schnitzel?? A tasteless piece of meat). Sorry to say but Pretentious and lack of imagination and with the worst service I've suffered in years.

Decent German food. Sauerkraut was over cooked and lumpy. All the rest and wine was good a reasonably priced. Service was excellent.
