Walking around the Forestal area in search of a healthy lunch I saw this little gem with a sandwich board advertising some sort of salad with salmon (my spanish is not the greatest). I took a risk and got it - to my absolute delite. There was also squid or octopus or something like that in it and it was... More

After a month in Chilean Patagonia, where the available food was limited to say the least, we came into the 'big city' for a few days. Izakaya Yoko was the first restaurant we tried. Fresh, fresh fish and splendid julienned cukes and a spinach salad drenched in dark sesame oil--well you get the idea. It was wonderful.

I've been to several places to eat sushi. But this one is absolutely the best! The chef is the owner, who is Japanese. Food is done at the very moment,so got to wait a bit,but absolutely worth it! Try pisco sour Peruvian recipe. There are also vegetarian rolls. Music and environment absolutely brilliant! Service is very good! Can't think on a... More

The salmon special sashimi was perfect and absolutely delicious. The Chiloe roll is wonderful and I totally would recommend this place to anyone.

This restaurant hit the spot after a long day of touring. I ordered the ramen and was very pleased with my meal. My husband had sushi and likewise enjoyed his food. Good, casual Japanese in central Santiago.

After two weeks of heavy Chilean food, we were ready for something lighter for dinner, and we found it at this cute, cozy quasi-hole-in-the-wall. Service was quick, friendly, and very good, especially when you take into account our primitive Spanish skills, and we enjoyed the quirky ambiance that featured a Japanese television show loop (think dudes with swords chopping the... A small place, that doesn´t say much from the outside, but the food is just excellent, I especially recommend the Yakisoba, best in town. It has reasonable prices and has very friendly service. Authentic japanese food, of great quality.

We really enjoyed the sushi here - we ordered the combination of sushi and sashimi platter for $19000 Chilean peso and we received 35 pieces with it, which was pretty reasonable. Drinks are also very reasonably priced. Miso soup was included with the platter, which made a decent starter. Our waiter, Jorge, was very friendly and helpful. We took a... More

This place is pretty slept on, at least when I went it was pretty empty and the vibe wasn't exactly exciting... But the food was. Started off with some gyozas, really tasty and properly made, with the proper folds instead of the gloppy mass you'll get at most other Japanese places in town (admittedly quite a low standard). Then the... More

Located in Lastarria, this restaurant doesn't really look like a good place to eat, but don't let appearances fool you! It's probably one of the few restaurants in Santiago that offer authentic japanese food, with good quality, great taste, and at reasonable prices. The first time I went there, I had a bowl of tempura udon, and a tofu and... More
