Definitely the best sushi we had in Santiago. Large pieces, good menu selection, and they actually have a variety of rolls where the main ingredient isn't just cream cheese (you'll find this common in Chilean sushi places). Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.

Brought here for us to experience our first Japanese food and can say categorically it was excellent. Although certainly not Swedish(!), but we had a Smorgasbord of both hot and cold fish preparations on a large platter, that were very tasty. We even succeeded with the chopsticks. Rounded off with warm Saki...well recommended.

the place is very nice, is very easy to get there, close to many other interesting places in the city. But the best is the food which is tasty and not very expensive. Additionally the service is very good.

Slightly lacking atmosphere (although I was early) but the food was very good and not too expensive.

Tucked away on a side street near Plaza Italia, Japon is a gem - great authentic Japanese cuisine, the real thing! You also have t he option of sitting at traditional tables, with in a kneeling position or tables made to let your legs dangle beneath. It is an experince all around.

Great atmosphere, great food, good service. Maybe a little expensive to go often but a great experience nonetheless. Gets a little extra points with the design of the tables, the sushi bar and the hot towels before eating.

I'm a real sushi addict. Every time that I travel I have to go to a Japanese restaurant. In this trip to Santiago I chose the restaurant Japon. The restaurant is really clean and has some nice decoration. The staff was helpful, answered our questions politely. If you like real japanese sushi you will have to ask your makis/uramakis without... More
