We stopped for an Expresso on the patio in the Santiago sunshine. Very tasty. Fast and friendly service.

This used to be a beacon for the gringos with good hearty breakfasts and a spot for lunch and hang out on Sunday mornings. Sadly it has lost its way and soul and is beaten hands down by the competition that has sprung up around the area. Sadly I can only descibe it as very average in quality and offering.

Excellent restaurant with "gringo" breakfast & healthy lunches . Great service from smiling wait staff. Open for weekend breakfast.

Absolutely terrible. My friend and I both ordered the pancakes which appeared to come from a box. There was a blueberry in the center, they were dry, not fluffy, and drowning in syrup. The coffee came with cinnamon instead of hazelnut and the service was atrocious. The waitress seemed to be in a bad mood. We were the only customers... More

We had a great time earlier this morning having breakfast at Cafe Melba. I had the Eggs Benedict with salmon and it was delicious. The latte is also very good; I just wish the bowl had handles, since it was hot. Waiters were very friendly.

Tables set out in the atrium of the Costanera Shopping mall with an interesting water feature and coconut trees. We had burgers, salad beers and some lovely desserts for around $12 a head. A pleasant place to sit and eat - and better quality food than the multinational competition! Photo looking up from our table

We stopped for a quick lunch. We had the bacon croissant & salmon pacifico. Both were good. Great coffee & beer. Service was fine.

Grabbed brunch here before heading to the airport. Good service - food was delicious. Only downside - we sat down at 11:45AM and tried to order off of the brunch and lunch menu, only to be told that they were not yet serving lunch. Something to keep in mind if you don't want breakfast/brunch foods.

My food was lovely and big portions. My partners food not so good. Not cooked enough. Not as good as last time I came here. Service good and staff very friendly. The English element has gone with the previous owners!

I have been to Melba in the past and the breakfast was always good. After today's meal I will never return. The quality of the food is horrible. I could not eat my french fries they tasted so bad. Leads me to believe they have not changed the oil in some time. I asked for some ketchup or mustard to... More
