We visited this bar twice while staying in Santiago. It is above the restaurant operated by the same team. It is a spacious bar, with good seating and with a good list of drinks: cocktails, wine, spirits and beers. We also ate a couple of tapas dishes, which were very tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful. The first night... More

The food is great, I specially recommend the veal. Nice atmosphere, plenty of original choices for starters, main courses and desserts. Unfortunaly the service was to slow, it took 50 minutes to get our food. It seems that our order was somehow lost and they started to take care of it when we complained. Our waiter should have noticed that... More

La gallina trufada, chicken with trufles, the specialty of the house, definetly is worth going to this restaurante. It is a very elegant place, attended mostly by politians and businessman. It is very close to cerro santa lucia and the museums so you can stop by after a visit.

We just had coffee (very good) and a muffin each (also delicious - homemade texture etc) but it was nice to find a very classy cafe after an early morning walk around Santiago. While visiting Santiago for 4 nights, we had almost come to the conclusion that coffee/cafes, other than big chains like Starbucks, weren't very popular in Santiago. Anyway,... More

The perfect place to combine food, drinks, and music. The setting is informal yet intriguing, and the restaurant is a magnet for young adults, indeed an integral part of Santiago's nightlife thanks to its blend of quality food, dance atmosphere and great live music. The night usually starts quietly with a mostly European menu. Then a concert kicks in and... More

A recent visit, after good reviews and having been voted by Wiken as the best restaurant in town, proved dissapointing. Nothing was 'bad', but nothing was amazing either and one expects, hopes for, in the 'best restaurant in town' . I have to say that at least the produce seemed first class and fresh. I was surprised that we were... More

I order "Plateada a lo pobre". The meat was prepared at least 4 to 6 days before. Terrible color and taste. I was with clients so didn't complain hard about but I didn't ate it. Instead of offering me a different meal or deduct it from the bill, they just offer a coffe. $4 against $20. I wont back to... More

The key thing to enjoy this place is to understand it is mainly a BAR. Would like to enjoy a fine dine go down starts to its bigger brother Opera. Cathedral offers good food, a large wine list, good beers selection, local ingredients, a mixed crowd, etc. This is the "restaurant" aspect, including prices. The "bar" aspect is also there.... My favorite restaurant. Perfect food, kind of a quiet place though. Not for party, but great experience. Never disappointed. Great location.
