We had great expectations of this restaurant which was highly recommended by our hotel. Three of us dined and were essentially very underwhelmed. The menu was entirely in Spanish and needed to be translated by the waiter and it all went downhill from there. The entrees varied from good (my pumpkin soup - very hard to mess up pumpkin soup)... My team and I chose the restaurant for the holiday dinner, mainly because of the experience, one of them had been there before. The atmosphere was great, each detail is carefully chosen in this old, beautiful building formerly owned by chilean poet Vicente Huidobro and located in the middle of historical Concha y Toro neighborhood. Though it's in the middle... More

We were here, invited by our hosts. We truly enjoyed it, the restaurant and athmosphere is beautiful. I had beef filet, which was done instead of medium, but it had an excellent crust and safran rice: excellent presentation. We also ate at Bocanaricz, which has a truly impressive wine list, and we had dinner at Chipe Libra: much better food... More

This was our best meal while dining in Santiago. It was a slow night (Monday) and no servers spoke English but it was still not a problem. They even went to the computer to look up a word when we weren't able to understand a part of the dish. Beautifully prepared food and tastes even better than it looks.

This is a gem in a perfect setting - an historic building in a small square a little off the beaten track. The property is so interesting with rooms of all sizes and styles, downstairs to cave-like intimate area and upstairs to an airy rooftop the screams party. The food was local and quite sophisticated and served with style and... More

This is a must. Beautifully restored home with multiple rooms for dining. Wine cellar, roof top bar and banquet area with views of the city. I had the Salmon - simply amazing. And the wine - well of course it was fantastic. To top it off - the cost worked out to be about $30 Canadian each - for appetizer,... More

Expensive, $170 for four for 3 course "Best of Santiago" type menu, but also really excellent. Thin sliced fresh raw Salmon, like lox but not smoked, with capers, then seafood cannelloni or angus beef on risotto or chicken with scalloped potatoes, ending with creme brûlée or chocolate volcano with blueberries and almond ice cream. All accompanied with an excellent wine... More

The first thing is its location, on the corner of an old square with a lovely water feature. Lovely surrounding architecture in the area. But why must people think it's alright to spray paint them? This is a restaurant of many rooms, different sizes, interment and cosy. Each room is decorated in a different style and theme. Very cleverly done... More

Concha Y Toro is an interesting district built by the famous wine producing family at the beginning of the last century. The architecture and street layout make this a fascinating place to explore (like the 'Paris' and ' London' districts) Potentially this is a major tourist attraction but unfortunately it has become' run-down' and probably 'unsafe' after dark! We approached the... More

Since we came to know Zully for the first time, this is one of our places for special events and dates. I highly recommend the Zully experience not only on its great food but also its unique architecture.
